Just did some googling and it will be at Lockharts BBQ Dec 17th @ 6 pm

 

That's where I got to try it. Was also able to pick up 2 BCBS and 1 BCBW.
That place is awesome, I have been working up in lansing building a plant for the last 18 months and always stop in there and find gems.

 

Ashley's is DEAD right now, t minus two hours to tapping. This was a huge miscalculation on my part but whatever.

Come and you WILL get a seat.

I have been searching every day but I don't get any luck. What exactly did you search? I might be doing it wrong.

 

I just searched "Canadian Breakfast Stout 2014" and limited the search tools to the last 24 hours. Second result was Lockharts, and it mentioned the tapping date in the info.

 

Had good time at Ashley's. We let a couple of other beer strangers from Canton that came from 4 Elf sit at our table. If you're reading this, shoot me a message, would be good to stay in touch.

Joke all you want. That place has a killer taps. Actually it's perfect. Drink great beer and buy the high calorie food you crave when you're buzzed.

Haha, glad I had it before the mania hits GR.

 

If the above is true I find it a bit dumb. Why some much in two cities? Would like at least one keg in Kzoo and to see more on the east side, Saginaw area perhaps. I guess GR and Lansing are Founders two biggest Michigan markets though. I'm also a bit bitter somewhere in GR had a keg of BA Expedition recently and it hasn't even been at the brewery since last year I believe.

 

Horrocks blew Friday

 

Shakespeare's will have it some time this week and Central City Tap House is getting it in January I believe. I would be surprised if KBE didn't get it some time too.

 

I would guess that all MI markets have this beer now, it's just a matter of when they're tapping. In talking to a rep, Lansing wanted to tap theirs all at once on one day. Lansing has same distributor as GR so GR bars likely saving for other tapings/events.
