How hard is it to get some Marshal Zhukov's Imperial Stout around the southern area of Florida? My brother and his wife will be driving north to visit, and i wanted to see if they could get me a bottle.
They will be coming from the Coral Gables area, driving through Pembroke pines, and via I95 if recall, not to sure if that helps.
I would say pretty damn near impossible. Didn't last long this year, even with the second shipment it's long gone by now. However, they could most likely bring you back some other CCB goodies.
Crap, it was worth a shot. We can get Jai Alai here pretty easy, so ill see what other CCB goodies they get pick me up that aren't available in the Atlanta distro.
You could have them get you Tocobaga or bombers of Jose Marti or Puppy's Breath if you don't mind the price.
Possibly bombers of the mentioned jose marti, puppy's breath, winter warmer, and bolita brown. Seems to be a lot of puppy's breath around Tampa right now. Also a lot of abc's have growler stations they might have good local stuff.
I am sure you can trade for it. The last time I was the Brewery early Nov they had it in the cooler with Case limits. Saw a few people hoard I mean buy cases.
I could give them a bottle for you. Just tell me when and where to meet them. I live in Jupiter so the two best spots for me is Tequesta Brewing Company and Das Biergarten. But I could also meet them by the highway for a quick pick up as well. Let me know @BeerAristocrat.
Lots of puppy's breath floating around at the moment. Not much else. I've seen a few winter warmers here or there. Kinda of a bad time to look for limited releases.
The brewery itself is out of Puppy's Breath, Bolita Brown and Winter Warmer. They had some bottles of Guava Grove available but those are probably gone by now. Good chance you can find everything but the sour pretty easily.
If your brother doesn't mind shelling out the $, Stop n' Shop in Coral Gables Currently has 110K+OT batch 3, from like 2010 in stock. They're like $25 a pop, and it's supposed to be a DIPA. But it is pretty good, and an interesting tick, if the thought of a 4 year old refrigerated IPA doesn't scare ya.
