Maria, it is still technically fall (for 5 more days). So Genesee is releasing their spring beer two seasons ahead of time!?!:grimacing:

Actually I am not too bothered by this; I wish that this was a year round beer.

I hope that you enjoy the Genny Bock!!

    Cheers!

I am wondering if it is a spring leftover? It says special edition on the box so I am hoping it was made for this winter.

Picked up some New Glarus Spotted Cow on a trip to Wisconsin. I went to the brewery way back in 2005; one of the first microbreweries I ever visited. Still hard to get outside of Wisconsin, so I was happy to find some in Milwaukee to bring home. Deeelicious!

    Good Malt Liquor!

There is no way that this is 8.2 ABV. This finishes so clean it aches for another sip. Why this isn't a fridge staple is beyond me. Well, looks like more of this High Gravity brew will be bought.

    Musical Narration:

"Come walk with me through violet smokescreens. Where both feet tread upon joys and agonies. Calm in all we see, masters of destiny. Claws upon my flesh and statues of lost souls dominate this house. Angels have no pity, their wings have turned to stone. Come travel naked lovers beyond all dimensions of heaven, and lie enchanted forever in the lucid garden of dreams. In all animate sources and creation of belief. We travel seas of illusions that begin at our dreams. Ethereal architects masters of all fate."

Tuesday bottle share at the office. Today's lineup features some Indiana brews and one special treat from the west coast. From left to right- 18th Street's Hunter Cherry (3 of 8 from their Vertical Series), Almanac's Tequila Barrel Noir (thanks @ahalcarz), Regional Ring of Fire also from a 18th Street, and a 3 Floyds Cimmerian Sabertooth Berzerker fresh off the bottling line. Prost!

A bit of back story on this one: Back when my nephew was learning to talk, he was unable to say my wife's name (Marielle). The best he could do was Momo. The name stuck and it's now her nickname. Flash forward to now and i'm curious to see if there's a brew with my wife's name (Tried Emma & Zoe for my daughters. Have yet to try a Patrick one but can't imagine it'll be hard to find). Imagine my surprise when i see a microbrewery in Switzerland with the name MoMo. Thanks to a kind hearted soul (who insisted on nothing in return but will still get something in the near future :grinning:), I present you this beer. Very cloudy for the style, bit rough around the edges and lots of sediment (def. unfiltered), i still enjoyed it for lunch, wit my wife of course!

No pics due to camera having a flat battery, but tonight I've got lined up:
    • Brooklyn Brown Ale (just finished it - not at all bad)
    • Ticketybrew Dubbel (6.5%)
    • Traquair House Ale (7.2%)
I've had a real bitch of a day so I reckon I've earned these

This is probably my ultimate favorite Red Ale..Tocobaga being my second, only because CCB doesn't distribute up here. Tocobaga Though is damn delicious!

I use that thing for tobacco products only...so don't get any ideas!
