It all seems to depend on who you talk to at DH. But it seems strange since the general store isn't even supposed to be open until 12.

I was there at 9AM this morning and can verify they already sold a bunch of cases to people who were there by 10AM (they said there were ~65 cases when they opened). The first few people in line thought it opened at 9AM so they talked with the person in the shop and around 10 she let people who were there buy it if they were using a credit card. However, not sure if they kept it open after that.

Hope they remembered to bring their Walgreens Balance Rewards cards.

Any idea how many people are there now? I'm considering driving over to get two 4-packs, but it'd take about half an hour.

I honestly wouldn't care if you cut in front of me to drink with your friends... So long as you only get 2014 BBPT5.

Knowingly cutting and ordering shit that is going to put other people out is morally wrong and there were multiple people that deserved a fist in the face for it.

Just punch in your phone number on the credit card keypad thingy... carrying rewards cards is for suckers! :stuck_out_tongue:

Just grabbed a case. It seems there's a fair amount left. There are around 15 cases sitting in the shop and I was told there is still more in the warehouse.

There were around 40-50 people in line when I left around 12:30. I got there at noon and started with about that number in line in front of me, and it took me about 30 minutes to pay and pick up my bottles in a tent behind the store building.

It's funny all the different info on how much was available and when. One guy bought on Sunday, someone bought this morning before 10:30. On Facebook they said they were only selling the 11 unclaimed orders, but Monday night they said they had 100's of cases, today before they opened they said 65 or so. A coworker got there at 10:30 and had to wait. They started selling at 11:40ish. About 30th in line when I left there was about 50 more in line. By the way, anyone on here the guy in the BMW who hit the Scion in the parking lot?

I bought my case and was on my way home by 11:48am. I was around number 11in line there were about 30-40 or so people behind me in line when I left. The dark horse employee told us when there were at least 30-40 people in line that they had enough beer for everyone in line to max out their individual limit. Hope this helps. I too was curious if anyone knew the guy that bumped the green scion which wa pretty funny. Both parties handled it well all things considered.

I was one of the early arriving group today. I got to meet some cool people while having a beer in the taproom and I loved the atmosphere. We noticed a group forming outside and joined the line. The DH crew moved us along pretty quick starting 11:40ish and I was on my way back home by noonish. With all the bullshit in the news lately, it was good to see a group of people being cordial to one another while we waited on that sweet nectar!

I'm thinking I must have barely beat you to the line. I got there a few minutes before Noon and I must have been in line for at least 20 minutes. It was nice that they wheeled out that full pallet so we didn't have to chase after it on the far side of their facility.

I hope that Dark Horse bottles a similar number of cases for next year's 4 Elf party. If they do, I'm coming to the party later in the day all rested up so I can enjoy the party and I'll pick up whatever bottles they have to sell at that time.

Hah, I saw that. Nice BMW though. It was the most calm car accident I've ever seen.

The car accident was pretty funny. You could tell the dude in the BMW felt like an ass but was funny when he was like I don't know how I didn't see you with that color car!

I was the dumbass in the BMW. Nothing like having my first car accident in almost 20 years of driving in front of a crowd of spectators... luckily there wasn't a single mark on either vehicle. Still don't know how I didn't see a bright green car behind me. Glad I could provide some entertainment, and glad I didn't mess up some unlucky guy's ride. :grinning:
