Finding Pliny The Elder in SF

Drive to the brewery! But seriously, heres a list of where they send it. I think SF gets their deliveries Wednesday and most everybody who gets it will limit it and sell out with a few hours of getting it. Good luck!

Your best bet by far is to simply drive to the brewery. You're almost guaranteed bottles, and you will probably be able to purchase more there than you would anywhere else. It's only about an hour from SF.

 

And pick me up a few sours while you're there!!

 

Bi-Rite usually carries bottles, but you should go have it on draft at Toronado.

 

You might get some up-to-date info by monitoring the postings in the Pacific Forum, or perhaps you need to create a thread there.

 

Blackwell's? I belong to their mailing list and they always seem to have it in stock....

Toronado has it on draft year round. I've also seen bottles at Pi Bar in the Mission. Public House has Blind Pig on draft year-round.

you can probably ask around at bottle shops, and spend a lot of hours doing so, but the Toronado always ... ALWAYS has it...

 

Bottles are distributed on Wed and Thurs in the city....go to Toronado to get it on draft.

 

Buy some of the other excellent (some better!) IPAs around SF instead of chasing trucks.

 

City beer website shows Nelson on draft. Imho, better bet and more difficult to obtain. $5/12oz or GTFO.

 

The number one goal of all people visiting the Bay Area and Wine Country is and should always be getting Pliny bottles.

 

Go to Toronado, ask them lots of questions, take your time ordering, and try and pay with your American Express.
