Here's some customer input...put some dates on the bottles and I might think about picking some up.

Hm. Hope they think long & hard about their pricing.

Gangster Frog, when fresh, rivals Alpine Duet. It's that good. What isn't good? It costs twice as much per bottle. If you can find it on tap it costs upwards of $10 for a 10-12 oz pour. It's a single IPA- why on Earth is it so expensive?

    When I can choose between Golden Nugget @ $7 a bomber and Gangster Frog @ $12+, it's a no-brainer- I'm picking up 2 Golden Nuggets.

Agreed, they make great shit but they need to rethink their pricing strategy.

I leave them my input every time I go to the bottle shop by not buying any of their overpriced beers.

I'm from OH. I went to North Carolina last week and stopped in to shop at a 100-rated bottle shop. I asked the beer guy if they had any Hoppin Frog, and he said they used to carry it but had a hard time selling it, so they stopped carrying it. He said he didn't know why people weren't buying it. I agree with earlier comments--the labels suck and the price is too high. Even the name is a turn off, I believe. If you were in N Carolina, what would you rather buy, Wicked Weed, or Hoppin' Frog?

I think BORIS was close to Blackout/Old Rasputin/Yeti/Founders Imperial level as far as popularity goes and then everyone realized that they were being charged $1-3 more than necessary for a quality Imperial Stout.

The market for BA beers finally caught up to the point where BA BORIS is now a fairly priced beer (and damn decent, too).

Yea I like their stuff but they need to expand into 6 packs with more reasonable pricing and bottle on dates if they want to really sell everything they are producing and not have it sit for extended periods of time like I see it doing at most stores

I've had, and enjoyed, both BORIS and DORIS, but I haven't purchased them in a few years due to the price.

Yep, and especially at their pricing points.

12oz bottles or 12-16oz cans will be the change that they're looking for. Until then....

Yeah, I always see a LOT of old Hoppin Frog beers on the shelves. Too expensive and doesn't sell well. Go cans or go home.

Can you imagine working at the brewery? That damn frog would haunt your dreams. Please hire an actual designer or two. Create some, you know, variation to your labels.
