2014 CBS in NYC?

and like everyone said, this bar sucks and cbs tappings suck. barcade kicked 6 mins after tapping with wall to wall neckbeards. if you don't want information about this bar or cbs tappings, stay out of threads involving cbs tappings at this bar

 

I thought it was stupendous. Like a sweeter KBS. One reason I like KBS so much is that it is not coffee forward at all, not like BCBCS. CBS has that extra sweetness to it that was just perfect. A very well blended, balanced beer between the coffee, syrup, and bourbon.

And look, folks. If you want to get these limited releases, you have to expect things will be somewhat difficult and uncomfortable. Keep that in mind and you'll never be disappointed.

I did read your post. Perhaps you didn't. Above is the part I'm talking about - you just re-quoted it at me in italics.

You are telling people not to express their opinions about something (in this case bars).

I'm saying that this is ridiculous. These are people's opinions about something beer-related, on a beer forum. Don't be shocked if it happens again.

Let's take a deep breath here, based on experiences of people probably 98% of these types of events are absolute shit shows, this turned out to be a rare one that wasn't,so be it.The great thing about this forum is people sharing information and experiences, that is all anyone did here. And there is a damn good chance one day soon you will be standing in a bar drinking beer with people on here, so let's not shoot the messengers here.

Off Topic: Why do all these beer geeks have big beards exactly? I feel like I am the only clean shaven, polo shirt wearing, stroller pushing, beer enthusiast..

(I think if you have a beard then you know what you are talking about, all pro like....but if you are clean shaven polo guy you are a noobie yuppy that knows nothing)

Did you decide that you wanted to try CBS in the first place based on other people's perceptions?
