After the grapes arrived from Lewis Wines in Johnson City, we ran them through a crusher/de-stemmer, then put them in an oak barrel, and added mature sour beer. The grapes were not frozen, sanitized, or sterilized. Aside from being crushed and de-stemmed, they were added as we received them. - Jeff

The crowds are mostly light, but a steady stream of folks buying their 1 bottle and leaving. This is really nice, I like it better than CdT. This is probably the best wine-ale hybrid out there being made in the US.

And it's gone. That's more than 100 bottles sold every hour.

When I got there at one there were about 10 cases left, and it looks like those went within 2 hours. Damn

There were multiple cases left when I was there so I guess I missed the bum rush? Hard to fathom a herd of people coming. I dunno...insane it sold out that fast.

Not that hard to imagine since it's been the lowest bottle count release since MvB / CdT though, right?

But yeah, still crazy. Let the calls for a JK Reserve Society recommence!

You're probably being sarcastic... but just in case... why would they mess with a preservation society and all the logistics that came with it if their beer sells out this quick? Seems like the worst argument to make

That separate tent for this bottle only made all the difference. I didn't want to hate someone for looking at shirts.
