Keep fucking around @PA-Michigander and see what happens. I think you may be overwhelmed in the near future. if you keep up these generous shenanigans. I've tried to defend my porch before and eventually it becomes so overwhelming you won't be able to keep up. It's not a good feeling.

For some reason I think these BA's you've chosen to randomly "attack" won't put up with this.

Well since you asked, some of these people I've met personally and they've been super kind. Some of these people I've traded with before and have been very kind. Some are a combination, but in all situations they've been more than kind and are people that I'd like to associate myself with.

Probably way too much information than anyone needs but here goes:

@youbrewidrink (Joe): I had never met him before my first trip to Vermont last June though a regular trade partner, Brady, told me how awesome Joe is. Joe took the afternoon off of work to meet me and two buddies in Burlington and literally escorted us around town showing us bars, breweries and beer stores. Not to mention footing the bill for our entire lunch and bar tab. He went so far above and beyond what could ever be expected of anyone, let alone a stranger.

@blue-dream (Justin): Though is a mod (I thought all mods everywhere had to be evil?) he is incredibly generous. The very first box I sent him, I didn't know him at all, never had traded with him or anything. In a thread I saw him generously sending out boxes to anyone that asked to try the Not Your Father's Root Beer. I don't know the exact number but it was multiple multiple boxes. Since then he has received two, I think it is, more boxes from me.

@Roger85 (Roger): Was an innocent bystander but was guilty of being a FIB so he had to receive beer.

@JamesShoemaker (James): Won a contest and minimums are meant to be crushed. Sorry James, it would have been triple but you cheer for the Green and White when it should be Maize and Blue!

@cfh64 (Brad): I was down in Florida and got an extra Rapp Gose and posted something about 'who wants it?', Brad reached out to me and we setup a very informal trade. I sent what I thought, at the time, was an awesome box of beer. Turns out the best beer I sent would have been the worst in his entire box. He is also incredibly generous raising money for good causes and giving away lots of beer.

@TastyDelicousness (Timmay): Also guilty of being a FIBster. If you haven't seen the pictures you should try to find them. He came home to NINE boxes (not all mine, tons of good folks helped!) waiting for him. No wait, it was his wife that came home first, LOL! An amazingly generous BA.

@Treebute (Steven): Though being in neighboring states Steven has become one of my best RTP and I've been lucky enough to meet him and will do so again 12/23 (please sister-in-law don't give birth early!). He's hit me with many, many wants.

@Justdoit1234 (unknown): Is on my list...

@Kurmaraja (Ryan): One of the more odd first connections. He had filled a couple growlers for a separate trade and it fell through. He made a post indicating he had said growlers and would send them for 'whatever' someone felt worthy. I actually had my hands full at the time but told him I'd take them if no one else did. We've now made multiple trades and look forward to multiple more. From a very innocent post I've gained a De Garde regular.

For all the 'bad trader' threads and talks of lack of community there is definitely a great community if you choose to join.

Brad I could show you a text I sent just yesterday that said after the first of the year I will have to slow down, you seem to have figured it out a bit earlier than I did!

Great love fest for someone very well deserving, that @PA-Michigander ! I first contacted Nick when I was still relatively new to the site- after lurking for a long time- and seeing his name pasted all over the place then (and the fact that he was in PA) compelled me to reach out just to thank him for being one of the 'good guys' and proving that there was definitely some positivity floating amidst the sometimes seemingly ocean of negativity. I've ended up receiving a few boxes from him in BIFs, and they have been ridiculous. We've chatted back and forth about meeting up for a beer at Pizza Boy etc., and I'll be damned if it won't happen sometime! Beer karma is real, and Nick's living proof. Kudos!!!

No clue who this @PA-Michigander is. No clue.

I'll just leave this here though b/c I hate context and can't stand ambiguity.

Again, have no clue what any of you are talking about. Generous BAs? If there was such a person, and I did know him, i could probably tell a story about this guy sending me a 64oz. growler of fresh pliny instead of a bottle b/c he thought the bottle may have been too old at 3 weeks. Or I could tell a story about the random box on my porch on my birthday that had a growler of Alpine Nelson. Or about the time this "generous BA" got mad at me for getting a Prop on my own b/c unbeknownst to me, he had procured one on the hush for me.

But, since I have no clue about any of this. I'll just leave it alone.

@PA-Michigander I have read several great threads about you. Thanks for being a true BEER ADVOCATE. You set an awesome example of what this site should be, that get's sometime lost in the trade forums.

@Justdoit1234 (Jesse) is following in your footsteps. He is very generous and not only sends random boxes of great beer for no reason, but also sets up trades completely for others. We recently did a trade for two other regular traders where neither of us received any beer, of course Jesse sent my trader a 31lb box! Insanely awesome.

Cheers to all you Beer Advocates that do it right!

Your Vanilla Rye gift and the happiness it brought him was well worth 31lbs of beer. That box was a joy for me to put together!

Oohhh Nick, Nick, Nick.. You never cease to amaze me! I still remember our first trade 8 months ago when I was fresh on the scene and the Fedex guy broke his ankle stepping of the truck with your box! Since then you've inspired me to destroy every porch I come in contact with. Keep up the good work my fellow cheesehead, looking forward to hopefully catching a game with you in GB next year.
P.S. your payback will be there soon.

@PA-Michigander is supposed to be in my neck of the woods this coming weekend. I will finally get what I wanted from him the first place, a handshake. I ask for a handshake and a porch go boom. Him and his beer-nanigans!!!!

Nick, can't wait to meet you and say thanks a million times for all you do for this community. You are the example we all need to live by. Cheers brotha!

This thread has me thinking about the people that don't even frequent the forums. How many victims are there of our guy @PA-Michigander ? What did Shoeless Joe say in Field of Dreams? I think it was...."there were others you know"?

I bet all this bromance with @PA-Michigander is made up and unwarranted. Just to be certain, he should send me some beer. :stuck_out_tongue: In all seriousness, bravo to you sir. With all the talk of FIBs needing to win trades all the time (I've actually consider changing my residence to get away from this stereotype), it's good to see a genuine beer ADVOCATE being recognize by his peers. Cheers!

Discuss how to win trades or how to get rid of these idiots in Chicago posting trades like: ISO: BAA or Assassin FT: Prop? I'm all for latter.

Never received a random porch bomb from him (not that I'd need to considering we only live about 40 minutes from each other), but @PA-Michigander hosted an awesome share (that happened to be my first) for which I'm really grateful to have been invited to, and never cease to be amazed at just reading all of the porch crushing boxes he sends! Definitely an awesome BA

@PA-Michigander just happened to be my 1st trade partner and while he didn't random porch bomb me he did surprise the hell out of me. I was just looking for a trade for some not very hard to get CCB beers for whatever Troegs he wanted to send. Instead he just decided to hit every one of my wants that he could. My 1st Heady, Pseudo Sue, Hop Drop n' Roll, WB Gose, Bomb! and then apologized and offered to send the original trade if I wasn't happy...what who does that? I mean how could I not be satisfied with that? True BA, what I aspire to be.

I have now thrown myself into the ring of @PA-Michigander "selfless" acts. Not a random porch bomb, but a generous act of a true BA and friend. He sent me a box of goodies, including Vanilla Rye and a 2014 GI coffee stout. What's funny (ironic), is that I got shutout on all variants this year and he is stalking the trade forums everyday (lol) looking for Vanilla because its his favorite. Instead of hoarding it to himself, or asking the "world" for the Vanilla Rye, like every other beer release, or what seems to be the trend nowadays, he sends it my way. What he says to me "Just send me whatever in return". Well, what I say to you Nick, Thank you!!! I drank the coffee tonight (yummy)
    Cheers my friend!!!
