I see I am not the first to open one of these, but it certainly is a most #appropriatebeer- pulled from the garage, where it was stored at an #appropriatetemp. I even fashioned some #appropriateglassware for the occasion.

How about some #appropriatemusic for such a fine day-


And, as to what do I think of this beauty? More details to follow on NBS, but I'll just give a hint and say Holy (#inappropriatelanguage)!

Well since it's about 10 AM here I figured this was appropriate. My dad's coming over later to watch his Patriots most likely kick the crap out of my Jets, so I have the Widow Jane Bourbon Barrel Aged Mother's Milks from our hometown brewery, Keegan Ales, sitting in the background waiting for him.

 

Now let me get this straight. I give you my soul and I can make home brews like this?

I had this Marshall Wharf Happy Dog coffee Porter about an hour ago with some cinnamon swirl bread my dad made. I didn't take a pic of the bread because I felt I would need to give it a Dark theme and I didn't feel like eating burnt toast.



I was joined by the Dark Lord, Voldemort.



Now I'm drinking this 2009 Smuttynose Imperial Stout I bought at the brewery a year or so ago.





I was joined by the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader.



I'm even wearing the appropriate shirt for today.

On the 3rd day of Christmas my true love gave to me, 3 Dark Lords drinking.

 

Thanks- my 12yo pulled it off beautifully. In about 2 minutes, too (it would have taken me all day to figure it out ).

 

The more I drink, the more I like. Cheers!
