Yes, Trillium being closed has been one of the worst (beer) things to ever happen to me. Their hoppy offerings are essentially unparalleled in my book...

 

Maybe it's better that I haven't had them then. Since I don't know what I'm missing.

 

I assure you it is not better that way When they re-open, I don't think their stuff is particularly difficult to trade for... I'd think KRE & BBPt5 would easliy get it done... They're just essentially brewery only with very, very limited distro to local bottle shops. I'm fortunate that I just have an unbelievable RTP in the Boston area who always helps me out with Trilium stuff.

 

Just a mind trick to myself to make me ok with not having tried it.

LIF time....

Up for grabs is a box of beer that will include a bottle of fresh Yellow Rose, a Jester King beer (750ml), and some other great Texas locals.

I'm not very original so I am going to copy a very common theme for this time of year. It's going to be an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest.

To enter all you have to do is post a picture of yourself wearing what you consider to be your ugliest Christmas sweater. This can be a new/current picture or even a picture from your past. If it is a family pic, just clearly point out yourself in the picture. It would be great if you would add some commentary about the sweater, how you got it, or whatever.

This will be open until 5pm CST on Friday 12/26. At that point I will review all the pics and pick the person that I think is wearing the ugliest sweater.

This is open to anyone that has participated in any round of the Locals BIF including the current not-summer 6'er round.

 

I think I will just send you with my credit card when you go back. Just let me know when it is. Now if I could just figure out the damn pet situation at your house.

I let my friend Pam dress me for ugly sweater parties... It is not pretty.

 

Oops... that is my bad. Don't know how I botched that one up. But like you said, should be a simple disposal protocol in place.

They are just a step above brewery-only, but in a pretty heavily populated area; a little different than HF brewery-only or even CCB. I can't imagine a world where KRE or even BBPt5 doesn't get it done for Trillium (once they're open again, that is; which based on instagram seems to be the case)

I don't have an ugly sweater, but I have something similarish that has a wonderful back story, and involves Christmas, so I will post it anyway when I get home.

 

Is it better than yellow rose?
