Not going to purchase it at any price until I hear it's decent. Tired of paying good money for low quality Ok. beer.

Anyway, saw it at Sam's for like 1199 if my memory serves me correct.

 

Well I brewed it... But I dident package it or spice it.... One of my last beers I brewed at anthem... I have no clue how it taste. Hope it's good!

I'll say this, if you're brewing beer and enjoying it and people are liking it then that's a helluva lot more than I'm doing. I've just ran across more than usual local bad beer lately, so I'm being a little bitch on BA about it. And to be clear, this isn't strictly about Anthem by a long shot, it's statewide, with some being worse offenders than others. It'll all work itself out in the long run.

 

It's more like nation wide lol. There is bad beer everywhere. Even in Denver

I don't know anything about this beer. Didn't know it existed. The amount of promotion Anthem does is limited and irritating.

 

No need to promote something that pretty much will sell out as soon as it is approved. I can't get into chasing "rare" beers from breweries that are still cutting their teeth when there are some many proven beers for sale this time of the year. I had cut myself off on the Abyss in Missouri last week as I had just spent too much freaking money on beer the last 3 months...

 

I'm not looking for whalez bro. I'm just looking to try as many Oklahoma beers as possible.

 

Nor am I, they just earn zero loyalty from me doing small releases I will probably not see as do other breweries. I get it though, just the name of this beer will get folks excited.

 

I mean, I'm a HUGE Seinfeld fan, my dad did the Kramer tour in NYC just last week, but I also get excited to try beers from home that are good.

I think they do a pretty good job of announcing and promoting stuff on their Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts.

 

Tried some while in OKC over this past weekend. Worth getting if it's still around. Another really good beer from Anthem.

 

Idk what is going on in this thread but frankly Oklahoma is still a beer wasteland and other than mustang or battered bore everything people here are putting out is consistently good. Only thing to fuss about in years is choc bbq which has been exhausted elsewhere if you care about beer in this state. Festivus is good. It wasn't remotely hard to find. It was not expensive.
