Local 6er Hint:

I picked up a bottle, and maybe some swag, from a local today. The name of the beer is on your wants, but different brewery....I think you'll enjoy it!

Winter/Not Summer/Festivus Sixer update:
My box is loaded up and ready to go. The weather here next week looks like winter is actually starting. This box is headed for a much more enjoyable climate. I think you will really like it. There is one piece of swag and some delicious beers.

 

Hint something... My target has a pile of wants. I picked one up while on the West Coast. Then I checked my other bottle in on untapped.

I'm heavily considering heading to Tired Hands' release on Sunday. Assuming I do and my target likes this, I will add a bottle to his Sixer.

I should also note on that last post I made that he also gave me lyric ale from orpheus brewing and two westbrook gose. If I learned one thing when I had my first can of the gose from last rounds box it's that there is almost no such thing as having too much of it. Very appreciative of the random added extras there

I would be thrilled to drink beer and help your kid with his legos -- legos are almost as awesome as beer. Although I agree that stickers are not the best.

 

Also try out infusing it the way I did the BCBS at @PA-Michigander's house. I've done mango, raspberry, and I think one other with Gose, works great. If you don't have a french press, order a Randall Jr from Dogfish Head, and in the meantime you can use a kitchen strainer, coffee filter with some holes in it, whatever, just as long as the pulp stays behind and you don't lose all your carbonation (I recommend only infusing with half the can/bottle, so that the other half stays carbonated)

 

I was at my parents' house today to visit with them, my sister and her husband, and their daughter. They just got in from Seattle and are already on their way to his parents' house a couple hours away for xmas day, so this was our chance to see everyone for xmas, and it also was my dad's birthday today. Accordingly, he and I had a small, very one-sided, bottle share:

Wanted to drink this home brew before the 12 Beers of XMAS starts. Received this box from @Summer78 in the NFL 33 BIF.

A home brewed Bourbon Barrel Barleywine, and it is mighty fine!

 

Merry Christmas all. LIF time. I have a box of Saisons that I want to give away. Was collecting them for a BIF that didn't happen.

Rules:
1. You must promise that you like saisons.
2. You must promise that you will share with a friend (family members count)
3. You must guess the types of aircraft I have worked on while in the Air Force.

Hint 1. I've worked on more than one.

 

I LOVE saisons, will absolutely share them, and I'm going with F-111s and F-22s. LYMI.

 

Legos are awesome. The newer ones are a lot more involved than what I remember as a kid. They do some cool things now. Hopefully Santa brought some more Legos for me to "help" put together today.

I wish I liked saisons more, I like some of them, but they're certainly not my favorite style... I'll let this LIF pass for someone who'll really love those brews
