Buzz: Well, pal... We survived another Christmas.
Rex: Don't jinx us - at the rate the 4-year-old is playing with his construction set, we might still be in trouble.
B: Nah, man. We're indispensable! You really think @RPH2327 will let us get thrown away?
R: Good point. Then he won't have anyone to drink with. Dude is a loser!
B: For real. But you know who isn't a loser? Your girl, @utopiajane
R:
B: I know you have some weird animal-crush, but you're aware that's not really her in the avatar, right?
R: I was talking to some other BA's who know her and they said it was actually her.
B: They were just messing with your almond-sized brain! Did you hear that she's up for BA of the Year?
R: She totally deserves it! Should we open up a beer in her honor?
B: Damn straight! Let's crack open a year-and-a-half-old Speedway Stout.
R: Word.





B: Yummy! Fresh or aged, this stout is delicious!
R: Agree. Aged, it loses the coffee a little but brings out nice mellowy-chocolate notes.
B: What the fuck is mellowy-chocolate?
R: When tasting beer, you can pretty much say anything: Just make it sound cool and people believe you.
B: Gotcha. Wanna listen to some tunes?
R: Yeah. Should we go Horns-Up like @jhartley and @Greywulfken ?
B: Since we're drinking to @utopiajane , let's do something a little more refined…





R: This moves me to tears almost every time I hear it. So beautiful, just like @utopiajane !
B: For having a peanut-sized brain, you sure have a lot going on up there.
R: First, it's almond-sized, thank-you-very-much. Second, fuck-you-very-much, but my tastes are quite refined.

Good Morning Everyone , Supposed to be a 54 degrees today here in Illinois it kinda rainy and gloomy but i'll take it.
One last Christmas today think I'll keep in the spirit by starting my morning out with a little Jingle Java. Yup Ole Lucy still thinks she's Santa's Little Helper. or her Mommy does anyway. Have a great day kids. !

 

WHERE DID YOU GET THE KING!?

 

Good morning BAs! Today is starting off sunny here in NW PA; too bad I won't get outside. SyFy is running a bunch of crocodilian exploitation flicks and I have to cheer for my scaly buddies.

This morning's beer is Weizen Bam from Jolly Pumpkin, my first brew from them. It's pretty good overall, just loses some points for no head and no lacing. When I'm in MI in May, I'll have to track some more down.

Well, I was stickin' to coffee, but I found a couple of Left Hand 400 lb Monkeys, so..... This is a nice English-style IPA. Pretty malt forward, not very much bitterness. Good beer.
