green gueuze? how the f@#%

    hey dudes and dudetts,
    I was always mind fucked on some gueuze style beers that are green.
    I have only seen it in a picture in a book, Bernstiens "The Complete Beer Course".
    Fantastic book, a must read!!!!!
    So back to my question......How is the gueuze style of beer a green color and what would the srm be?

    Easy to confuse GOSE with GUEUZE. Gose is Berliner weiss with salt added, Gueuze is unblended lambic if I'm not mistaken...

    Gueuze is a blend of young and old lambic.

    I am very confused by this post. Gueuze is never green but is almost always sold in green bottles.

    Fantome's Magic Ghost is a green saison, it doesn't sound impossible for a gueze to be green.

    Yep...when I rated the last gose I drank, the review below me was a guy who gave it really low scores and was saying "this doesn't taste like a gueuze at all"
