There are lots of brewpubs with serviceable food...many good beer bars w great food.. But not many legit restaurants that pay equal attention to their tap list. I'm not talking bars -- but legit restaruants. For me -- it's OB Noodle House in SD -- amazing Asian fusion food and a killa tap list w beers from Societe, Alpine, other SD classic breweries and always a bunch of well chosen Belgians. Closer to me in Kittery Maine is an amazing little farm to table place called Black Birch that has a great selection of mostly local Maine brews --and enough harder to find brews to make it an exceptional tap list. You got any favorites?

There are a ton of places in big cities with large focus on beer. OB Noodle House is awesome though with great food and beer (except when they have stuff like .25 cent fireball nights).

Edmund's Oast in Charleston was both one of the best meals I had all year and one of the most impressive tap lists as well

I'd go to the Mountain Sun locations even if they didn't serve beer.

Yes, this. Though it may not be a "legit" restaurant because of the laid back atmosphere, it's still a step up from your normal pub. The seafood is great and tap list rivals our best beer bars around town like Lord Hobo.

Michael Symon's Roast in downtown Detroit has a great beer selection and a very good happy hour.

The Horseshoe Pub in Hudson, MA has a great tap list and awesome food.

If you go there and don't get the Reuben Eggrolls, you and I can't talk anymore.

Before (MA) Sunset Grill and Tap redid their menu, I would've said them.

In ATL, Brick Store and Leons are both pretty awesome.

OB Noodle House is up there. I'd like to add Slater's 50/50.

City Tap House in Philadelphia, right on Penns Campus. My favorite restaurant to go to. Has a very big bar, huge selection, and a very nice restaurant and out door seating area. Also the food is amazing, big brick ovens, and the best turkey burger I've ever had. They also have a varying menu each week, specials, fresh fish, etc.

If you go there I recommend Pulled Pork Nachos.

We have a new restaurant in Plainfield called Sovereign. Food is awesome and they bring in lots of local brews to go along with better known regionals.

Amesbury Ale House, but that probably straddles the line between beer bar with good food and restaurant with a solid tap list.

Green Street in Cambridge also fits the bill.

I was at Birch and Barley a few weeks ago and my wife and I were SO impressed. Great staff and what amazing beer they have. The upstairs location (I forget the name) is also pretty spot on as well. I'll be back in DC in April and I'll definitely visit them again.

DOG Street Pub in Colonial Williamsburg is very cool as well. Been there a couple of times. After a few beers and tasty lunch, you can walk around some US history. It's very well maintained.

Buddy of mine told me about Mekong in Richmond. It's on my list.

And speaking of Richmond, another friend told me about a place called Southern Railway Taphouse. Great stuff on tap and I hear the mac and cheese egg rolls are amazing! I gotta hit Richmond soon!

    Cheers.
