    heading into a California sunset...watching from home....safely

    treading lightly at this point....a couple of Lagunitas Maximus after starting with Arrogant Bastard

    obligatory champagne later on...sips of Glenmorangie or Angels Envy to come paired with Mr. Rasputin

    with BA Narwahl looming as a possible end of 2014/start of 2015 specter (as referenced in another thread....a dilemma of sorts)

    just checking in with BA Nation...for inspiration

    and tapping this below for Narwahl-induced inspiration and dementia

    First time trying it. Bottled 11/21/14. Sipping it slow and enjoying it. Rather sweet, but it seems like the sweetness helps hide the high ABV (which DFH almost always does exceptionally well IMO). Either way, at 16-18% it is still warming me up nicely. Would've gone really well with the dry-aged steak I'll be cooking soon haha. I'd imagine a few years on it would be great, but I don't think aging it will help it as much as it would help some other beers in this ABV category that I've had. I'd absolutely recommend drinking this fresh. Just be in a mood for something sweeter when you have it :wink:

    Happy New Year everybody!
    Enjoying this awesome Lagunitas Fusion 25 IPA
    It was brewed and bottled for Sweden's market only. Very lucky to have a bottle of this to enjoy
    It has some very nice pineapple notes and, as far as I know, its a fusion of Lil Sumpin Sumpin, IPA, and Pale Ale.

    Great answer! I have 4 with the same bottle date. I've never had it before and was planning on having one fresh and aging the rest.

    Follow up to earlier, Just finished a trIPL from Jack's Abby 10% of hoppy love, lager style, don't laugh, this beer along with others from this brewery are pretty top notch, if you happen to find anything by them I suggest you buy, or trade. Also listening to a little Led Zepplin II. I forgot how many songs kick ass.

    Vieux Carre . . . Rye whiskey, Hennesey Cognac, Benedictine, sweet vermouth, and a "dash" of Peychaud and Angostura bitters. Old school sipper. Happy New Year!
