    Happy New Year to my fellow BA's. To celebrate, I'm opening a 2012 Bourbon County Coffee stout. I probably won't make it to midnight. My two and three year old sons wake up at 6 AM, regardless of the day. Cheers![​IMG]

    I'm with you man. Wife went upstairs to put the kids to bed and put herself to bed in the process. Now all I have is a few hundred of my closest friends here on BA to spend the night with. I ain't complaining. Keep the good beer flowing.

    Pulled a 2011 Westmalle Tripel from the cellar - simply outstanding, goes quite well with smoked salmon, cream cheese, red onions, cucumber and capers!

    Well, my wife and my daughter and my oldest son and his wife (whew) are out gallavantin', so me and my youngest son and the son of my oldest son, my grandson (whew) are gonna have to ride this one out together, I guess. I have IPA and they have grape juice and soda pop.. All is well.

    Believe it or not, my first beer of the day. I was the designated driver for the evening and now that I'm home it's time to enjoy the fruit of my labors.

    This is everything I thought it would be, and, actually, even better. Just fantastic. Happy New Year's to all the BAs out there and stay safe.

    Have a great 2015 all! This community, all of you, you dirty dozen. You were a great companion to this lurker and were a great relief in my 2014 of many firsts and tribulations. Thanks to you all.

    RIP to my dad who isn't joining us in 2015. Hoist a wit, weizen, or pils to him. He would have complained about any other type, but he would drink it nonetheless.

    The end comes to all of us. Try to remember that in in 2015. Live like it could end. Live like you might want it to have meaning for yourself and beyond yourself. Sorry for the Debbie downer bullshit and hypocrisy. Just remember.

    Glad to see Indy seeing in the New Years. I wish I could ship you some of our pup's energy, this dog is mental... He is sweet about 41% of the day...
