    Damn it all to heck....

    I get addicted to the BA site over a holiday break....engaged and enthused by the volume/content/energy of posts/posters

    I step away (work)....and see what I am missing (seems the volume and engagement elevated...posts and likes flying in chaotic bliss)....I hate to miss and now have to catch up (with mainly Left Coasters left, I imagine)

    That said....a trip to the closest Bev Mo was part of my agenda (an hour away...where i live....it is an hour drive to get to something even half-assed worthy in terms of quality/quantity...my sad but true reality)

    will dabble and share throughout the weekend, as I picked up stuff "new" to me....(Clown Shoes Imperial Stout, Coranado Idiot IPA, Firestone Walker Saison...and more)

    tonight....however....(cursory overview/reviews for now)...all first timers for me

    Firestone Walker Velvet Merlin Oatmeal Stout ---smooth, thin, fairly tasty....too light at 5.2%
    Anderson Valley Heelch O-Hops---serviceable, wouldn't buy again....smell/taste a bit off for me...8.7% a nice sell, but not enough
    Boulevard---Sixth Glass Quad Ale----love the 10.5%, smooth considering, maltier than I like, but not overly-sweet to a negative point....enjoying it as I post.....

    good to be "back"....looking forward to the weekend.....and BA Nation

    Workin for the Weekend indeed.....
