Time & beer.

Food?

 

I voted "a lot of the time". I can't vote "all the time" because that would mean that beer supplanted sex.

 

I think about it while I drink and when I buy. I walk into the pick 6, pick 6 as I look at them for beers I have not had yet, go home and put them in the fridge. Drink them on Friday and Saturday night. No more thought until next time I go to the pick 6, and restart the process.

 

I didn't used to think about beer all that much, but then... something changed. I don't know if it's just getting older or thirstier or what, but I have found myself thinking more and more about beer, taverns, drinking, beer, breweries, different kinds of beer, what kinds of beer I'd like to try, and beer. And my consumption of said beer has increased as well. Probably because I'm always thinking about beer!

 

Damn you now I have to make room for 3 things.

Shit, I just remembered there is no beer in my fridge, so apparently I don't think about it often enough!

 

I'm an avid brewer so I pretty much think about it all the time!!

 

Only when I'm doing things that I associate with drinking beer. Watching TV, sitting at a restaurant, etc. Occasionally when I'm near the end of a long run I think about the beer I'm going to drink a little after I finish.

 

I checked "A lot of the time", I work about 15 hours a week at Total Wine, in the beer department, I'm on this forum daily, and I usually drink a couple of craft brews a day...I think that's fair

 

All the time. Only drink on weekends unless it's the holidays or some other special occasion.......

 

Usually about 2 pm on workdays (a little earlier if I am in one of those all-day 'Why am I in this meeting?' meetings) I like to take a few minutes to reflect on the kind of beer(s) that will best complement the day. Of course the this does not include all the time I talk about beer.

 

so much beer... so little time.

 

On the days I work, all the time. Gotta keep the focus on good beer!

On the days I have off, only most of the time (Do I toss a bottle from my cellar into the fridge? What should I brew next? etc.)

 

In my youth it was sex, now its beer

 

Ever since getting into IPAs, I think about beer every day, multiple times a day. I swear, hops are opiates or something, because there's almost nothing I crave as much as the taste of bitter, citrusy, fruity, piney, glorious hop goodness.

 

I also dream about beer pretty frequently. Scotch, too.

 

I have peaks and valleys with my beer interest. The GF tends to bring me back down when I start getting out of hand. Although, she did enjoy our last San Diego beer trip. She said it was the Napa Valley for beer.
