Anybody heard anything about this year's release? I know last year it was bottled late December and I believe came out this week at the General Store, I haven't heard anything so far this year. Are they waiting to release it during Kalamazoo Beer Week?

Last year was my least favorite I've had yet. I believe that's 2010-2014 for me.

And it was brewed 3 days ago? It'll probably be a drain pour by Sunday.

I'm sure it'll come out earlier at the brewery, but Logan's Alley is doing a release party on the 19th in GR.

Not that it'll have any hop profile left by then. What a waste.

I know it was released in the chicagoland area the Friday before MLK weekend last year, so if that stays true it should be around the 16th around here.

I'm pretty sure it's always released on a Friday, or at least has been the last three or four years. If it was bottled already, I'd guess it hits the General Store and the Cafe this Friday.

Don't get your hopes up. I don't say that because it's bad, but from my own experience it's best to try new beers with no expectation. Let your palate decide how much you like it, not the hype.

Went to Bells for lunch & bartender says 1/12 for release which wouldn't surprise me because I remember last year getting some the day it was released & thinking why is the bottle date from 2 weeks ago

I might be tarred and feathered, but I don't understand the hype over Hopslam. It has scarcity on its side. It's way too sweet.
