Just had this last weekend (not as impressed as I thought I would be), wouldn't fill a growler up because it was a "thin" keg. Should that be a small (k)?

    hehe.

We already received half barrels of Grapefruit and Grunion. Grunion had a lot more of that Tropical fruit flavor

I have not been defirentating between keg sizes just due to the number of them. 5, 10, 13, 15, etc. The one they approved was for a 10.9G while 5.1 and 15.3 have already been approved. So, they were just adding a size.

Still no Abyss? Wonder when/if it will come to town. Picked up a bottle when I was in CO early last month just in case.

Rumor that I read is that Funkwerks will be hitting DFW on the 12th. Granted, no label approvals are showing yet, but I am guessing they are approved and will show up on next weeks list.

Edit: Maybe not....appears some events are now canceling that were planned for next week due to TABC approvals.

Thanks again, TABC! I saw their FB posts with large pallets of beer headed this way. So it shouldn't be too much longer.

10.8 "keg" approvals are casks. So it is something to be a little excited about if they have added any fruit, hops, coffee etc. on top of being cask conditioned

Nice! I've been trading with a guy in ATL and he's been tossing in a bunch of Sweetwater stuff. Very good beers!

    Hop Hash is flippin delicious.

Not sure how tied to BP that location is. We are given pretty much autonomy when deciding on our beer selection. We sell a lot of Sculpin year round and might get a little priority on some of the more special releases. If you haven't met Wes before once you do it's easy to get behind that brewery after...really cool humble people...their spirits aren't half bad either

I also heard we are a couple of weeks away from cans. Maybe bad info.

I've had some Sweetwater over the years and am pretty excited about them coming to Texas. Just recently had Hop Hash while visiting Georgia and WOW! It did not drink like most DIPAs and will second the "flippin delicious" sentiment.
