    So, since moving out to Hawai'i, my beer options have become somewhat limited to what I was used to. If it's barrel aged or special release, we don't get it, or it's it a bit higher than what you pay on the mainland. It's the price of paradise. Figured I would get crafty with the French Press and make my own special release. Local beer French Pressed with bourbon soaked local coffee beans. Coffee was a little heavy on this one, probably take it down a notch next time.

    Let me tell you I think Im in heaven right now. Santa was very nice to me when he brought me this. Firestone Walker 17th Anniversary Ale

    The last few days have been rough for me with not much rest and although today is not a special occasion this was what I needed to bring a smile to my face. 25 Euros paid for and worth every bit of it[​IMG]

    Yeah every time I do a coffee iinfusion I lessen the addition and it still seems to be too much, I don't think you really need very much when infusing beer
