I like that there's a random Rare Barrel bottle in the middle of all the Bruery stuff. Bruery is good and all, but man Rare Barrel is really tasty.

 

Holy Shit, that 2nd photo, the Melange and all those different Bois / Sucre. I've never seen so many different wax colors. And then the Rare Barrel and Modern Times stuff... so jealous, looks like some damn tasty things.

Depending on prices, I too may need to line up a trade @wheelzntoys As @cultclassic89 would say, there are some very sexy things going on in that picture

To my Not Summer Sixer target.....your box was sent out Monday. It should have arrived today, but I found out by checking the tracking info that the box was damaged. When I called to find out what was up, and after speaking to the local fedex, I found that it was not "damaged" but they determined my box contained alcohol (I can't believe someone switched the contents of my box and put this substance in there). So, I have to go by my local fedex hub and sign a paper saying the contents are alcohol, pay a small fee and then...the box should be on the way.
Anyone else ever have this happen? It's a first for me.

 

Fortunately, Abyss hit while I was in LA. And then, some came to Jersey...

Sucaba is on my permawant list. If I have my game on, I should be able to track some down. It was everywhere in 2012, 2013 I never saw, and 2014 was pretty damn sparse.

I always understood that while shipping alcohol via the US Post Office is illegal, doing it via Fedex or UPS is "against the rules", but not "illegal" -- does that make a difference, and/or am I juat confused?

 

That's how I took it as well. But, it's odd they told me I have to sign a form declaring it as alcohol and pay a small fee. Then, they'll ship it.....

 

If you don't get it, please let me know -- once the weather warms up a little, I want to send a small thank you box cuz you blew me away in Round 2 -- unfortunately, I can't hit many of your wants, and usually I look for stuff that people don't have on untappd but you are sort of prolific there (although I realize a lot of it is tasting/sampling).

And DDBA is actually one of the more desireable beers I have a couple of extras of, although in general I kind of like saving it for BIFfing (even if it's not technically a Local for me, FW has screwy distribution).

 

It's in a legal gray area. Primarily has to do with tax laws and to which state sales tax was paid yada yada. Same reason cops sit on the PA/DE border and pick people off who obviously came from the 'on the border' Total Wine store.
