I think someone just misspelled peewee herman. It's all a big misunderstanding

 

Nobody has had it yet, it was released by Alpine and available for pick up starting next week.
They hype is due to the last Alpine sour release and people trying to finally be able to get BCBS variants that have been guarded like crazy.

 

For the first time I'm disgusted by beer trading. Want nothing to do with it seeing these posts

It's a kiwi strawberry sour blonde ale. Everyone is expecting it to be the next chez, but everyone thought vsp would be the next vsb, it's the same thing all over again.

People are starting to think that every limited release beer with a low bottle count is going to trade super high and then hold the beers hostage. It's getting too ridiculous and too common. I'm willing to bet 95% of these trade offers aren't getting done.

 

Surely you are being sarcastic, unless you pulled off the BCBS variants.

 

Not sarcastic. Its the most profiteering I've ever seen. I'm from a land of no whales so have no dog in this fight just think it all looks more than a bit crazy

 

BCBS variants were the same way.
What happens is a beer is released somewhere, gets hyped, and anyone out of state complains about what it trades for.
Truly is a vicious cycle and actually kind of humorous watching the meltdowns.

 

But how do you really know what, if any trades are really getting done for this...I believe 1:1 with prop got plenty of offers and that's probably a fair deal...but some of these others that say they're 'closed'...yeah...not buying it

 

There are some outrageous trade requests out there like mgr78704 said, most likely not getting done.

 

BCBS was not close to this. I didn't see anyone posting prop for 2x ddg. Or prop for kbbs. This shit today is crazy

 

It was pretty bad, the way I see if is if you don't have the urge to tick it, sit back and watch the mayhem.
Some people are trying to win trades, happens with most new releases.
I ended up with bottles of Kiwi Herman and will trade one to a regular partner locally who got shut out and might shoot one other out to another out of state BAer.
No need for me to attempt to win trades, more important to keep certain BA trade partners happy and we hook each other up.

With all the hype machine beers that have hit the trade forum over the years, I have never once been so legitimately unable to determine whether the ISO's are sincere or straight trolling. I also can't remember the last time that something hit where there were as many or MORE FTs relative to ISOs demanding this much. I find the BCBS Prop/Vanilla demands frustrating, but they are certainly reasonable in light of the steady stream of ISOs for them which have flooded the forum for nearly three months.

I think we are seeing the result of a lot of pent up frustration from Cali traders over the lack of good trade bait in recent months/years. I mean, even Masterpiece turned into an "untouchable" thanks to the release debacle!

 

Not a chance. Anyone can post "FT: Kiwi Herman ISO: Fou x8" and then post "Closed!" a few hours later. So save that hat for wearing, not eating.
