I'm also in the aforementioned Facebook group...although i don't trade much on here, so I don't expect my opinion will count much, however the things stated in the previous thread are 100% true.

 

Funny thing is, he is engaged in conversation right now and just completely ignores all of this

 

When are people going to learn not to screw people over. I was trying to explain how cutthroat beer trading is to a guy at work and he thought I was nuts. Shaft somebody and you have a cyber mob on your ass. Why would anyone want to fuck with there reputation over beer.

 

When he was offering Nuthulu in trade we had a brief exchange about working out a trade. It did not work out

 

And @HOPSareKey has apparently not only pissed over not just one group but many. So that explains the total lack.of response...

 

Hopefully they ban this trash before he f's over whoever he is talking to right now. He clearly has some issues with many people on this site and others. He also knows this thread exists and was aware of the comments in his ISO didn't do anything which to me implies guilt or wrong doing.

I wish we could see who he was talking to so we could warn them before another bad trader thread pops up in a few weeks and gives beer trading another black eye. Kinda sucks some poor guy is probably being victimized right now and there's nothing we can do about it. Hopefully he will check this chumps references and history so he figures it out.

 

The majority of what he does in the forums I have seen is just troll people and goof around. Feel bad for the guys that got stiffed in trades with him.

In other forums he continually bashes other trades and will back out of trades consistently.

 

He's a clown, plain and simple. Would not advise ANYONE to trade or deal with him in any capacity. He has shown his true colors in the other group the others have mentioned. I would not trade pogs with him.

Does/did anyone in this Facebook trading group actually know him personally outside of the internet? I guess I'm asking how he got into the group in the first place? I'm assuming anyone could join or someone had to "vouch" for him to get into this group?

I wasn't going to respond to anything because it is probably futile and will just give another jumping off point for more of a shitshow, but we're in pretty deep at this point so I will do my best to explain.

Let me start off by saying that at no point have I ever stolen anything from anyone. a few people are mentioning that I received beers and then sent shelf or nothing at all. that is completely made up. I challenge anyone to post screenshots or proof of any sort.

In addition to that, most of what everyone else is saying is also completely untrue.

I will admit, there were two trades that possibly could have been taken as pretrades that I was not able to accomplish, but I gave very fair warning. No one was out anything, no one shipped. I never accepted bottles, THEN changed the trade.

that is all this is about. Those two trades. Everyone else commenting has not personally had bad dealings with me.

My inbox was completely flooded with offers once I posted a picture. It was hard to keep up. There were certain bottles I wanted to obtain with the nuthulus I got. I initially secured them, but then a few fell through. That was right at the time i had the trades set up with two I mentioned. Mind you, nothing was actually finalized with the two. Once the trades with the initial bottles I had fell through, I had to go back and focus on getting my main ISO. I know that sounds a little selfish, but I am the one who did the work of getting to a limited release on time and wait in the cold. My intentions were always to get those bottles with the nuthulu, so I had to make sure those were done.

If anything, I should be putting those guys on blast that backed out on me, but I'm not.

The one trade i am speaking of is with russell wing. I do feel a little bad because we were very close and I did have to back out for the aforementioned reasons. However, I gave him notice of it the very next day that there was a problem. It was simply a trade that fell apart. Noone was out anything. Not much time went by, Noone shipped, Noone was out any money. Literally only a day went by before he knew there was a problem. I will post screen shots later. Can't ATM.

the second trade i was speaking of has since been resolved between the other party and I. It was a similar situation. HE messaged ME looking for a nuthulu. I told him my iso. He had one, ba abraxas. He needed an answer immediately and I couldn't give it to him because I was also waiting from someone I was already in talks with. After a few hours, he messaged me saying he had to get rid of his ba abraxas, but can offer me another of my iso, assassin. I already had an assassin locked and done, so I needed to make sure I had ba abraxas locked before I could do multiple assassin.

Both of those members were part of a facebook group I used to belong to that all hold themselves very high. They think certain people are entitled to certain bottles. When I didn't have bottles for two of the people in that group is when everything started. 90% of the negative comments on this thread are from that group. The other 10% have no clue and are just hopping on.

Mind you, I did trade a bottle with someone in that group.

To sum up, this has all stemmed from a group of people from Facebook that are just ganging up. What actually happened is nothing more than trade negotiations that ended up not working out. No theft. No loss. I hope this clears some stuff up. Thank you

More thank likely he needed to be added to a group. I'm in some closed fb beer groups and I needed to be added and approved before I could join.
