9 Outstanding Barrel Aged Beers

Great photography.

 

Seems that "barrel aged beers" is way too broad of a category to compare beers. No complaints from me personally, but it appears they really only considered non-sour beers.

 

I saw that. Looks like a "Hey - check out these 9 beers I drank once" article.

 

I haven't had any of those

 

Surprised I've had three of these

 

A couple of them, in my opinion, have no right to be on a top 9 barrel aged list, but that's just me.... I agree with 2 or 3 of them

 

For anybody who's had some of these, are they really worth seeking out or are there others just as fine?

Also, I don't know what it was, but the food pairings cracked me up

 

I haven't had about six on the list, the other three I don't agree with.

They missed Wulver.. IMO the best BA Wee Heavy there is. > Backwoods.

 

The woman who wrote that has either only tried those 9 BA Beers or is just a plain moron.

5. BCBS Prop '14 (Hate to say it but it is)
6. Side Project Fencerow
7. Alpine Great
8. Jester King Atrial Rubicite
9. Avery Opuntia

 

Whoops. There fixed. The woman is a moron.

 

It's a woman and in no way did she say these are the best no questions asked, no debating. She said they were some of her favorites. Since ya know, taste is subjective.

 

ive had 5 of the nine. Must just be HER favorites...

 

I'm not going to list my favorite, I'm just going to say that I didn't like Black Ops.
I had 3 of those 9, including Black Ops. Honestly if she gets paid by the click, I want nobody else to read it.

 

I find the responses to the article on this thread far more ridiculous than anything written in the article.
