I've taken Brettanomyces (Brett to none beer people) to a few breweries/brew-pubs and she's usually with me so it would be nice to hit more spots with her. She's 9 months and has already been to a few off the top of my head.

Bear Republic, Lagunitas, Kern River, Hangar 24, Wolf Creek, & Beachwood.

I'm heading to Alpine this weekend and the yelp reviews conflicted about if dogs are allowed or not. I called and they said dogs are currently NOT allowed due to a recent incident with an over excited kid and an over excited dog.

What are some other places that are dog friendly in California?

Love your dog & his name. I know Belching Beaver in Vista is dog friendly. When I was there in the summer there were dogs both inside & out on the patio. Also I remember seeing a couple dogs at Societe.

I've never seen dogs inside the OC breweries. I've seen some outside of Noble, but you can't bring your beer outside. So that doesn't work unless someone else is there to hold the dog. Bottle Logic has a small outdoor patio where beer is allowed but I've never seen dogs out there.

We're about to do a quick trip down to SD with our dog and it seems like the vast majority of places are dog friendly, with the exceptions of Modern Times Lomaland Fermatorium and Ballast Point Little Italy

Golden Road is the only spot in LA that I know of that allows dogs. Can confirm that Smog City, Monkish, El Segundo, and Ladyface do NOT

Monkish does allow dogs, unless this changed recently.

Some other breweries not mentioned above that I know are dog friendly:

    Iron Fist
Cismontane (the south OC spot, not sure about the newer Santa Ana tasting room)
    4 Sons (Huntington Beach)

Why not spare the confusion and leave the dog home?

Faction in Alameda allows Dogs inside and out.
    Took Marlowe there last weekend.

I'd be interested in dog friendly bars/taprooms actually as well, but maybe thats for a different thread? Marlowe comes with me to Trappist (back patio) in Oakland, Toronado in SF, Roaring Donkey in Petaluma.

Dogs are like children to some people! My dog would go everywhere with me, but he's a pitbull and people/businesses love do discriminate against them.

Dog owners tend to want to spend time with their dogs. Shocking, I know.

Others already mentioned the other ones I tend to visit.

    Stone Escondido is no
Lost Abbey use to be no because they had a cat, not sure now but I can't say I have seen a dog the past few times I have been there.

Council is a no - their lease does not allow it. Their landlord lets them have their dog in their, though (big black lab).

Yeah, well, beer drinkers want to pass out on the floor after drinking too much without some dog licking our face, thank you very much!
