Tap List for Huna Day

Wow....just wow. Now I'm thirsty.

That is one hell of a tap list! It's cool that they bring in such amazing beers from other breweries as well. Should be a great day.

That is crazzzzy, what is the ticket situation? Cost? Difficultly to get? Etc

 

Can't remember exactly... but something like $200 per ticket. Ticket includes 4 Huna's, food, tastings, etc... 2,000 tickets total with the 1,500 club members getting first dibs.

 

Holy man.

 

That tap list alone is worth the price of the ticket. Will be one heck of a day

 

Definitely trying to go. Been the last 3 years, and this looks to be the best yet!

 

Is it bad that of all the beers on that tap list, the one I would be least excited about trying is the event's namesake beer? (Even though I know that I will never come across a bottle of Hunahpu in a ba-jillion years)

 

If they take a picture of all that and post it in the hauls thread, they will have won it

 

Ill be honest... I would be a complete Chit Show about an hour into that event...

 

Toppling Goliath is either bringing 7 month old King Sue or brewing another batch before March.

 

The key to Hunah Day is lots of water and eating! Marathon, not sprint. It's a slippery slope and I've seen people lose it for sure...lol.

 

I bet that tap list is better than a lot of beer festivals round the country.

 

obviously, they'll be brewing some... They are a brewery and they don't have to live and die by their normal release schedule ... lol

 

That tap list is amazing as was the list last year. Last year however they had volunteers pouring beers who knew nothing about the beer making it more frustrating. The lines were too long to see what was pouring at each booth when you got to the front they had pitchers of 3-4 beers. When I asked what was in which pitcher I was told "IPA", "Stout" and "Red Ale (I think)" When I asked oh ok what is the stout...The response was "I don't know"...I know the crowd size was a part of the problem last year but I hope the volunteers are selected a little more carefully this year. I also hope CCB have seriously put thought into making this thing better as a whole rather than just blaming the crowd size for the troubles associated with the event.

 

Yes, good news. Its only been bottled one time....ever.
