Definitely a 7 case limit at the store. Glad I got my 1.8.15 case, can't wait to try it!

Work schedule officially blocked off to pick some up tomorrow afternoon.

I know the 'obvious' answer of anything beyond 5 days after bottling is a drain pour for freshness, but realistically what's the drinking window on this one? (I know this is going to very since apparently some have let this 'cellar' for at least a year, which personally I would not do)

Do people really try to buy more than 7 cases without needing a home equity loan?? :astonished:

7 case limit? Is that a real thing? I know I'm not the only one who has NEVER considering buying a couple cases of a beer, let alone 7. I'm not a ticker, but there are way too many other great beers out there to be buying 7 cases of the same beer. Hell, I didn't even see Hopslam last year, so I'll be happy with a lone sixer.

Let's say you live on the eastside of Michigan and would like a case without any hassle. You have 6 friends that feel the same way. One of you agrees to drive to Kzoo and grab beer for everyone. The only difference is 1 trip across the state rather than 7.

Or you may have friends out of distro and just hook them up.

I don't think many people will plan on drinking 168 bottles of Hopslam.

I'm just glad the 7 case limit is per day.

I can easily buy several cases of certain beers I enjoy each year. Damn near bought 3 cases of Cup Of Joe this year and I am far from a hop head but could easily see me buying one to two cases of Hopslam (though I don't really start drinking them until about the 4month when the bitterness starts laying down). Have drank hundreds of different beers over the years nothing wrong at this point in loading up on the ones I know I am going to enjoy.

Not sure where you are, but 2 Meijer stores in the GR area are getting 120 cases each. Elite craft stores are getting between 50-100 cases.

This matches what I have heard plus the fact that Bell's has a 7 case limit, this seems like a lot more Hopslam going around. Am I crazy?

On the other side of the state, but wondering if Kroger, Meijer and the like will see some allotment in the Birmingham area.

A Busch's market is getting 50 cases of it so I think the Meijers in SE MI should get a ton
