Vote with your dollar, don't give them any business.

$10.59 for an 8oz pour of BCBS lol.

When TJ's had their BCBS tap takover, they were charging $6 per 8oz fill. That was including Vanilla Rye and Coffee. The Flying Pig as regular on tap right now for $8.

I could only imagine what The Beer Store would charge if they had Vanilla Rye on tap. I'm guessing $12.99 minimum.

That's after you win a raffle and buy a 6 pack of any Goose Island beer.

Also hit the Beer Shoppe in Ardmore, a block away from Tired Hands. Not quite the selection of Pinnochios, but close. They had RR sours last time I was in there for around $19 a piece, and Blood Orange Gosè, Terra Incognita, some other stuff I can't remember. Good place to hit before r after a stop at TH.

Someone just posted a 5/5 review that has 0 posts, 0 beer reviews, and 1 place review (the beer store).

Haven't been to a raffle "festivity" but I cant imagine many people swapping beers, let alone noticing "in the end I think everyone got what they wanted". Also, they commented about the prices being cheaper than most places in the area, which is a blatant lie or they are unfamiliar with the area. As I posted earlier today, BCBS draft comparison prices.

Seems like someone from the beer store may be posting their own reviews. My .02

I agree grimey. Seems like a crock of $hit!!! Who would give that place a 5 and not explain the perfect rating??!!! Let's face it...businesses rely on reviews for return business, right??!! Anyone who walks into either Beer Store and says, "man, this is a great deal!" Is totally delusional and needs a major lesson on how to avoid being ripped off. But then again, anyone who is oblivious, deserves to be ripped off imho. To each their own!!

Does anyone think that $20 for a 6 pack of grapefruit sculpin is high? The store 5-6 cases in today and there was a limit of 1 case per customer. Thoughts?

I've never bought it around here, but I was in SoCal when it first came out and got a few bottles at $3.50 per... so based on that maybe not? Personally since production has continued I think it would be better in the $13-$15 range. But they really had a 1 case per customer with only 6 cases available?! The hits just keep on comin'...

I think @Diesel2627 meant to say one "six pack" per person as the Beer Store cannot sell cases.

Yes, plus you pay tax. I would never pay that much for a six pack of Sculpin.

Whole Foods had six packs for $15.99 yesterday, with no tax.

Gonna toss my guess in the hat and say that Nugget Nectar will be $16.99 a 6 pack.

There may be a raffle for Nugget Nectar....especially when he gets his mitts on the 16oz cans coming our way, canned 1/15/15. It's a shame that he'll probably get his Paws on the Abraxas supply that made it up this way too. Bet he'll charge $40 a bottle + tax, and some suckers are actually going to pay it. Haahahaahahaha. That's why I love Whole Foods. Scored mine for $24.99, no tax.

The Grapefruit Sculpin does go quickly though. I just happened to go to Whole Foods as they were unloading the Grapefruit Sculpin from the cases, and grabbed a sixer. The following day I was back again and they were sold out.
