Look... so CBK is doing what a lot of other good bottleshops are doing. That's not why this thread was created. Some other BA's have had unfortunate experiences with them and shared those experiences with the rest of us BA's so that we're aware. This is knowledge I'd like to know and I'm sure I'm not alone.

Now, there are a few BA's that took the opportunity to make this thread more entertaining at the CBK brand's expense. Not that uncommon here on BA. Any boundaries that were crossed were appropriately dealt with by the mods. Hope you don't get too incensed by all the supposed "crapping."

Actually, I know and met Moe a good amount of times from multiple bottle share events to just random SoCal beer happenings. Enough to the point that at one of the later month Firestone barrelworks releases he greeted me and asked what was up in a nice manner and we talked about how long has it been since the last Azusa bottle share or something like that.

Then a month or so later I heard he made the connection through mutual friends that I am Earlycsquid. That realization when on social media he sent me a message of "squid, why all the shit talking?". I didn't want to get it into it over computer and figured I would see him at some point and just has it out then. But since then, when our paths have crossed at SoCal events.. yeah, he has just ignored me. In fact, at the last Firestone event of the year I was making a trade of BT for an extra two bottles of SLOambic and the folks I was doing it with were standing right next to him

Was I bit harsh at the start of this thread? Probably. I didn't have to use the word douche. And in honestly by himself and without his CBK posse, he's a decent dude. But once that persona and crown gets put on, and it's about business of beers/trading/slaying them rar. whalez... it's like talking to someone else and I'd rather have none of that.

There's no haterade or anything like that. I've tried to give them my business in the past and have had a lot of bad experiences when going solo and when taking friends that are just getting into beer. Those are documented in this thread already and there's many in this thread that shared similar complaints. I'll choose to give my money elsewhere as long as those issues are present.

A business can either learn from those mistakes and improve and grow - Which it sounds like, from the above statement, that they are improving shipping cost and bottle prices for online sale, that they are learning from. I'm actually glad to hear that. Otherwise a business can just brush off complaints and comments as "haters gonna hate". Only one of those actions improves the business in the long run and helps rebuild a positive image of the store/brand

    Your grammar is horrible!

@Earlycsquid Your Douchebag commented gained its seal of approval when he ignored you in person!

Well I typed my post from my phone in one motion without reviewing any of it. If you want to comment on grammar issues instead of what I said, then that is pathetic

I wouldn't say that. For me a post that is full of poor grammar and misspelling suggests someone not very intelligent. It's hard to take that person seriously if you believe they're an idiot. Now you may not be an idiot, you may even be a rocket scientist, but from reading your post you can't tell that and that's all anyone has to go on. No one is going to have confidence in anything you say if you come across as an idiot.

Defending Moe out of nowhere after this thread has died down is also very suspect, and that leads to believing you're a troll or someone tied to him personally which also puts your opinion in question, poor grammar or not.

Fair enough. I saw he posted on instagram about this thread, so I looked it up.

I guess I'll take the time to check my grammar and not use an iphone keyboard from now on.
