Barrel aged week is Monday Feb 16th to Saturday Feb 21st, with a different barrel aged beer being released every day
Pre-sale for bottles is Feb 8th 10AM....The specific beers have not yet been announced...but there was mention of Czar Jack and Buffalo Bock
750ml mini growlers this year replacing the 64oz growlers from last year!
More details to be announced in the coming weeks I am sure!

Has anyone seen the new mini growlers they are referring to? just wondering if they are kinda like the HF ones... also wondering being in a growler how "age-able" these are... you know for science.

If they counter pressure fill em - should be good to go! I opened a DB JF growler at Darkness Day and it drank awesome...

Just opened a big #7 and was still awesome! I have held onto a TH BA growler for 3 years and it was fine.

Would someone be able to describe how their presale Growler sale works for those who haven't participated before?

Really hope they sell growler tickets for Project 3106 this year. That beer is unbelievably delicious.

We opened and drank a 2013 Growler of Twisted Trace after 18 months... manna from heaven...

You show up before they open on Sunday. You get to choose x number of growlers to purchase. They give you a claim ticket for each growler. As the beers are released on tap during BA week the growlers are also released. You do not have to pick up the growlers the day they are released.

I'd like to add that last year's release was incredibly relaxed.

Anticipating more of the wild-eyed mania that seems to afflict these releases every year, I wasn't going to even bother going. But I received a text from a friend about noon: "Everything still available, nobody here." Sure enough, I drove up, had a glass or two, ordered three growlers, & went home & took a happy nap.

I'm going to dare to hope for that kind of release again this year!

This might sound odd, but I wonder if the bottle infections from a few years ago "helped" a bit by decreasing the TH trade bait value and keeping the bottle/growler demand a bit more local...

I've just traded locally for a few growlers the last couple years to clear out the cellar a bit but am debating showing up for a few growler tickets this year. I've made it for at least one or two days for tap releases the past four years regardless of the growlers, and plan to do the same this year!

Guessing (hoping) the 750s vs. full growlers will mean more beer to go around too since people will be able to buy in smaller volume. Not that we don't all need 14 bottles of every limited beer.

Good to hear that these growlers age well. Gonna store a couple for when OOS friends visit

Those look conducive for pouring barrel aged beer into a sniffer!

I saw the 750 mason jars on twitter. Not impressed with them for the barrel aged beers. I was hoping for swingtops or something.

I find this to be an odd statement. Do you have personal experience with them being a problem? The mouth opening is a bit wider, but I don't see them being too different from a regular growler. Particularly with how well TH tends to fill growlers.
