Just curious what these guys are trading for these days or what one might expect from one... And yes, this is the one with the 84 bottle count. Thanks for the input guys! Cheers!

You might be able to get a king Henry for it. But I wouldn't hold my breath

whoa whoa buddy, dont get greedy. you know how many states I had to travel to in order to scoop up some of that 28 state distributed rarity?

Tell you what, I will confer with my cadre of other 427 people with it listed as a "Got" and we will decide what the market value is.

With it being rereleased and Hunahpu's reputation for not aging great I would imagine general demand is lower. Perhaps people seeking a full vertical/horizontal or who like the base beer would go after it?

I traded a bottle of 2010 Framboise for a Cure for it when that was released, and drank the AB Hunahpu's about a year ago. It was ok, but not outstanding.

Yeah, as much as I want to offer you something awesome for it, I think mulder is correct....this may be your ticket to finally getting all of those Blabaer to arrive on your doorstep (assuming you are the one with the bottle). If you don't want that, please send it to Al and instruct him to share it with me.

I have been wondering the same thing. I have a bottle from the original release. It's still the very first hunahpu's release and the first barrel aged version.

*I'll trade my original AB Hunah for an 07 Darkness*

As for them not aging well, that is rubbish. Just had a 2010 a few weeks ago and it was delicious. Yeah the spice is gone but the other flavors shine like diamond.

I think it depends a lot on how it's cellared. I've had ones ~a year old a few times now, sometimes they're amazing sometimes they're a disaster. Could be bottle variation, too.

Haven't had aged zhukov. But MZ wouldn't have a flavor profile consisting of vanilla, cinnamon (yes, I said spice in my original post. I meant chili pepper) and some other rich notes I've never tasted in MZ. I am sure the chili peppers contribute flavor still, just not the initial heat they once did.

    Definitely possible. I agree.

Could be those hot Florida cellars. Or that many houses there don't even have cellars.
