What beer are you drinking now? #816

I was kinda upset yesterday when my company sent me through ATL instead of CLT because of beer choices. Enjoy you trip JZ.

 

@#$%!!! That's on the menu too and considered it but went for another Hop/Drop!! I can't pour another one down my pie hole without the poor person sitting next to me on the flight catching a second hand buzz!! (Had to cash out!) The Coco Loco is now on the radar, I should have tried that instead! (Thx for the heads up! )

 

I'm curious.....Do you have to be sober to ride in an airplane?!? I'd have pounded that beer back.

 

Found this little guy in the bathroom. Supposedly they are amakua and good luck. They also eat those huge ass Palmetto Bugs they have over here (when they get bigger), so they are good to keep around. He got released into the front flower bed.


Got this coconut out of my backyard and let a BCBS sit in it for a few days. Kept a little in the bottle for carb, so it wasn't completely flat. This went very well. Since my tree is full of coconuts, I plan on doing this with an array of different beers. This is going to be fun!


Here's a pic from our family beach day on Sunday. Got to swim with a turtle, do a little snorkeling, and found a fin for my longboard buried in the sand. This never gets old.

Courtesy of @SomethingClever Thank You Brother! This is pretty good. The aroma is off the charts! Dank Floral overtones with hints of Stone fruits. The flavor is like the aroma yet subdued with a hop astringecy bite. Aftertaste of citric acid and Hop Oils that seem to coat the palate. Finishes clean and dry with just a subtle bitterness. The feel on this is very thin and carb a little on the higher side.

Overall: This is a pretty good hop showcase without the huge Bitterness that some WestCoast IPAs like to favor. This is a neat and clean IPA that seems to play on one note. I think it works for this. Now the question, Is this worth Seeking Out? Only if you can't get Schlafly's T-IPA, then actually seek both out. This brew is Worthy!

While I certainly approve of your choice of beer, I do NOT approve of that bartender's choice of glassware for an IPA. Refer that person to this website and we'll straighten him or her out in a jiff.

Mmm Bacon Bits! I love this brew, I thought I wouldnt. I was at a German Beer Fest a couple of months ago, had this and was amazed!

This is a very good one. I've always wanted to try the regular version of this, and now have the chance (sort of). I'm honestly pretty impressed by this, to me, it almost is like a mixture of Ten Fidy and Expedition with a lower viscosity. It's almost weird how similar it tastes to those two. I'm digging it, though! Very impressed. I taste little to no alcohol in this as well.
