2015 Hopslam

Just got a couple 6 packs at Meijer's in Auburn Hills for $15.99, they have some left from what I was told.

Going hunting after work in the RO/Ferndale/Troy/Madison Heights area. Any tips?

 

Checked out 5 more stores this morning and nothing. I think I'm now 0-17 or something

 

I feel your pain. I am approaching 0-15. The biggest pisser is walking into a store on the day I was told it would be in two weeks ago, being told it was there, and then told that their list is to long and it was all spoken for when no one told me there was a waiting list to begin with. Am starting to wonder in the end, is it really worth all the stress, gas, and time? There are so many good brews out there that are so much easier to get (FIS, Sucks, Expedition, etc) that cost far less than what this is. Might just grab my poor man's version of Hopslam, Brother Benjamin. And save my cash for Shorts Freedom of 78.

 

Don't bother going to Red Waggon in Troy or Rochester Hills unless you were on a list for it that no one bothered to mention you had to be on to get it.

Lists for Hopslam?!?! WTF? This is getting ridiculous.

 

Picked up a sixer at Meijer today, so much better than a list, I HATE lists!

 

Out in Macomb. Talked to the manager at Meijers after i posted this. He said their delivery was messed up by the I-94 pile up this week. They are getting theirs tonight or tomorrow, but only three cases. Crazy how some Meijers are getting tons, but this one gets three cases. But, there is hope...

 

oxford beverage in grosse pointe woods had two cases left. only selling a sixer per man

 

Got mine at the Busch's in Saline. $16.99 on special for a six pack. They had a big display with plenty of cases.

 

Just walked out of Busch's in Ann Arbor (Green Rd.) with two cases -- one for me and one for my brother-in-law. They had at least 10 cases left as of 6:30 pm. Never understood lines or lists at local beer stores for Hopslam. Always find plenty at my local Busch's, even after the local beer shops have sold out. Good luck to those still hunting for some.

 

I agree, there is so much around. The Buschs by me got almost 50 cases

 

Found this at a Busch's! No Limit.. Bought two cases!

 

Hopefully the Busch's in Carleton, will get some, I will have to check tonight when they get their delivery from Rave.

 

I'll be going to visit southwest Michigan during this 3 day weekend, does anyone know if Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids/ Paw Paw still has any hopslam at any of the nearby stores or even at the bells general store?

 

General store didn't have any yesterday, but said they were getting a shipment today. Best to call if you have a drive.
