I've really grown to appreciate oatmeal stouts this winter because of their oily/silky mouthfeel and sessionable quality. I'm interested in hearing specific beers or styles you guys know of with good mouthfeel ratings. A few that have stood out to me are Samuel Smith's oatmeal stout and Breck's oatmeal stout.

Terrapin Wake n Bake. I'm drinking one right now and it is smooth and delicious.

I disagree, BCBCS is the best session stout.

Founders Breakfast Stout... better than KBS, one of the best mouthfeel beers there is IMO, and some killer chocolate/coffee to go along with the thickness

I've always appreciated Sam Adams Cream Stout for this reason.

Off the top of my head the best Silk/Oily mouthfeel from using Oats is Ten FIDY.

Hoppin Frog Infusion A Coffee Porter is amazing and one of the most underated beers i've ever had! I mean the base of that beer is SILK Porter.

I do not equate oily with silky. Silky I love. Oily is stay away from.

Any big, imperial stouts will probably do the trick. That being said, a sample of the ones that I found to have the best mouthfeel (creamy/thick):

    Prairie/ET Bible Belt
    Mikkeller Beer Geek Vanilla Shake
    Southern Tier Choklat
Great Divide Oak Aged Yeti (+ Espresso Oak Aged Yeti... really, any Yeti if you ask me)
    OB Ten FIDY
    3F Moloko
    Bell's Expedition Stout

Best available "silky" stout is founders imperial stout, hands down.
