I would imagine that as long as you can restrain yourself and save at least one for NBS on the 25th you can do whatever you want with them. I got 7 beers so that'll be my next 7 weeks of NBS covered but it is tempting to break into one of them now.

This is what I have so far, that's 23 of the 26. I either missed it or it hasn't been revealed who is sending to @gopens44 , @Ozzylizard , and @Shroud0fdoom yet, anyone want to step forward. The remaining senders are @2beerdogs , @cavedave , and @BigRedDog . Also, if anyone has received their box and it isn't listed let me know and I'll add it. It doesn't count to me until we see some pROn though.

Since you brought it up my sender insisted I drink the IIPA from New Republic immediately, for freshness sake, and I did with two friends, and we liked it a lot. It was really full flavored, nice pine and citrus aroma, lotta caramel sweet, but it drank very easy for that, dank taste, kinda like drinking a kine bud west coast IPA but with more sweet to it, we all dug it.

That said, am trying to save the rest for the time frame suggested originally for posting in NBS.

Ok I get ya, one last stupid question. How long does a growler of say raz stout stay good if unopened and refrigerated???

I was the first to receive my box, but I lack the skills to post a pic on BA. Plus, several of them have already gone to the big beer shelf in the sky. Check last weeks NBS for the first 3.

As I feared when this first got started, on the 25th I'll be out of town participating in shared birthday festivites for my niece and myself (translation: neice 85%, me 15%), so the first NBS to feature what lands at my place will be Feb. 1st.

By the way,@SammyJaxxxx, since this means it may not show up in time for the 25th, I'm going to throw in more beer than I was initially going to send. Since I have to wait until my next payday,(thanks to an unplanned and rather unbudgeted dental incident), I might as well make it worth you while.

Also, do you like Saisons? I saw something on a recconaisance mission at the bottle shop/market up the hill from me that would fit the bill for the theme of this BIF...:grinning:

Final clue, since no one seems to have nailed down my target. My target's state was part of the answer to a little girl who asked if there is a Santa Claus.

I'll give out one last hint to figure out who I'm sending to.

Hint number...whatever: You live in the state where the First Continental Congress was held.

Also hit the local bottle shop today. And I hope you like Coconut....

PSS... I know I said earlier I didn't get any, but I managed to go back and lucked into something undead and dusty from a certain place in Munster...

Now before I post a picture of the haul and a list I need to make a comment about the process. I've been a BA for quite awhile and participated in a few BIF before they were called that and before there was a special forum for trading (yes, that long ago - at least 10 years), and every time it has been an enjoyable and worthwhile experience. I'm consistently impressed with the inspiration and generosity of the participants. I got out of trading for the most part the past several years, and for whatever reason jumped at the chance when the NBS trial balloon was floated (thanks @beertunes). It has been a fun event and a pleasure to again be a part of the joy of giving good beer.
Anyway, on to the important stuff. So below is the a photo representation of an truly impressive beer haul that will keep me in new beer for NBS well into the spring (although not all will be consumed only for NBS ).
Id' like to give a hand to @larryi86 for a truly impressive show of beer an goods.:grinning::grinning::grinning:
So, the list is as follows:
Dogfish Head - Raison d'extra (sweet) and Bitches Brew (have wanted for years and will be enjoyed with the all-time great album - on vinyl).
Tired Hands - You Are the Emptiness (what a great name for a beer - I feel all existential) and a growler of Deathtripper ("Psychedelically hopped" which will be enjoyed with the person who provided me with one of the beers I sent to @Roguer)
Evolution - 5 highly rated beers from a brewery I've never previously experienced - can't wait - Rise Up Stout, Nouveau Rouge, Natural Selection Gen. 2 BA, Lot #3 and Lot #6
Twin Lakes - Greenville Pale Ale (I love me a good drinking everyday Am. pale ale)
Union Craft - Double Duckpin (mmmmm hops)
And if that wasn't enough 2 glasses - a very nice Dogfish Head pub glass (great feel) and a stemmed tulip (Teku) from tired hands. I used both already, but not on the BIF beers, which have not been cracked yet.
One more round of applause for @larryi86 and Many thanks.
