Being the husband of a middle school teacher I can vouch for the hours and hectic schedule.

So, a little known fact, our enforcer @Mikexw has a generous streak. We "traded" at our bottle share, where he gave me this gem for not much. Really generous guy, but I'd still suggest staying on his good side. Thanks Mike.

So I have to ask ... what exactly is a "tech theater program"? I have stuck in my head that you perform stuff like "Star Trek : The Musical"...

We could probably work something out I need to hit them up again for myself. Also if you can't find any bottles they are usually on tap at the bar right by the brewery.

I work with the theater program, design the sets for plays, and make sure the kids don't cut off any fingers while they are building things...

Not a great pic (snapped with the phone in bad light), but this is the set from this past fall performance.

I do have issues with sharing. On one hand I much prefer to drink a beer with a couple of other people so I can talk about it. On the other hand I want to make sure I get plenty of it to drink

I agree, I think 3, maybe 4 is the perfect number for sharing a bomber. Anything more and you will just ended up wishing you had more.

VBS Homebrew walez - A buddy of mine at work brewed this DIPA, and made this label himself!

Yep. One of my bottle share groups meets every two months and there's a core of about 8 of us and usually a total of 10-12 people there each time. Which seems to be what most others want to have a variety of bottles. At our latest tasting, last week, Sip of Sunshine showed up and I almost cried that I only had a bit under two ounces.

Sadly Trillium won't be open while I'm there; I'm arriving Monday (closed Mondays) and leaving early afternoon Tuesday (don't open until 4) which makes me very sad. That's why I'm looking for retail outlets or a #pickitupformebro.

I'll have to remember fried clams, 'chowda' was already on my hit list. I'm told it's not the proper season for it but I've never had a lobster roll, so I'll be seeking out one of those as well.

Why would I need to be 'truly adventurous' to hit Santarpio's?
Thanks! I'll be in touch once we hit February.

So i know all of y'all have had Bomb, but this is a fresh batch and its yummy. I couldn't not send.

And yes Kevin, i was busy with tons of crowlers. A new place opened up 7 minutes from my house that has the first crowler machine that is outside a brewery. 50 different taps of crowlers. Loving it since the few growlers I've sent have leaked.

    Cheers y'all.

I was trying to hunt down an Odell brew that I thought you may not have access to (through the whole MN connection)... not sure if this one makes it there or not, but I'm glad you like it regardless!

Awesome! (Damn, I use that word too much, but all these beers are so friggin' awesome!) I definitely get some Odell stuff around MN, but not all that often. I'll see 90 shilling around stores or Myrcenary at a bar, but there doesn't see to be a huge amount of it around for some reason.

Funny thing, I actually have NOT had Bomb! I have a handful of bottles, and knowing that this is a fresh batch, I have at least 4 different batches (white wax, orange wax, first unwaxed, and this one). I'm seriously considering a "vertical" of it

Very excited for that YR, just had a buddy's homebrew, my first Deschutes Red Chair is next, and then the crowler. If I'm still awake after that, HF Dorothy, but I'm gonna be realistic and say it's unlikely.

Now those are some pretty righteous beers. Mash & Grind is the only one I haven't had and it sounds great. The others were all a minimum of 4.5/5 for me and I'm usually pretty stingy.
