    Good morning BAs! Starting today with this, one of the best two offerings, IMO, from Penn Brewing in PGH. Hope the one between Hodgkin, IL, and spokane, WA, doesn't freeze in transit! Now to watch MST3K - King Dinosaur - one of the first SF movies I ever saw. I think some baby crocodilians and iguanas get humiliated by having dorsal fins glued on to "enhance" their primitive appearance.

    First one for this year, wow! Enormous coffee presence with huge robust roast malt and nice lactose creaminess. This years batch is awesome!

    Out of all 3 that were initially released by each brewery, the Dogfish version was my favorite by far. The herbal spice balance is really great. The saison yeast character vs the spices are seriously harmonious IMO. Glad they released a new batch for this year.

    An excellent black IPA. Great bright citrus hops and moderate roast/rye malt balance all around. So delicious. Will likely buy another pack of these.

    Good morning, BA! Coming off night 4/4 of my yearly week of third shift into the weekend I decided to open a side-by-side of two raspberry-influenced Belgians to compare while both celebrating and relaxing. You couldn't ask for two beers that initially appear so similar yet are totally different. Can't say I loved either but liked and am glad to have tried both.
