I've been drinking for the past few hours (because of the Packers' dramatic loss) - Nelson, Duet 22 oz. bottles, and then a 12 oz. Victory at Sea. Only had one thing left in my fridge, so I domed one of my Kiwis. F you aholes. LOL

 

Did u pair it with some stinky Wisconsin cheese?

 

What stinky Wisconsin cheeses are there? Other than Rush Creek Reserve (which smells stinky but actually doesn't doesn't taste super funky). I suppose I've heard of Limburgers coming from Wisconsin too.

 

I was actually making a joke about the Packers, since they stunk it up at the end.

That's quite similar to what it looked like today. @Curb71, his better half and I left around 2 and only then was there really no line. It was still flowing at that point too.

 

So what did you think of Kiwi? I went into it level-headed and once I smelled it I knew it would be an awesome day.

 

I had it on Tuesday. I wouldn't have gone today had @Curb71 not been in from LA and asked me to join him. I'm still sticking with my initial thought that it's good to very good, but not quite great. If I had to rate it, which I usually don't rate beers, I'd put it in the 4.25-4.5 range.

I can understand why people wouldn't agree with this statement, but I just wish it was a little more fruit forward. It definitely pops more when it warms up. I guess I'm just a woman who loves her fruit... or something like that.

BTW, from your pic, I remember that shirt pattern. Did you happen to talk to the table to the left just as you walked into the door?

Just noticed my post got cut short. I was saying KwH does everything it sets out to do. First thing I noticed was the nose, super fragrant and juicy. Mouthfeel was perfect! Kiwi up front tapering off into a strawberry aftertaste. Perfectly sour and acidic for my taste.

 

I just saw you call out that dude who gave KwH just an okay review and is now trying to trade for two bottles. Nice work!

 

But he said he was doing that trade for a friend.

 

Just wanted to update you guys - Steve at Alpine took care of me. Since I was charged twice they are going to give me my second bottle. While the situation wasn't ideal, he made it right. Plus, it just gives me an excuse to go back!

 

It's always for a friend. Also, his review wasn't for the beer I drank...it seems a little sketch.
