    Gasp!

Doing the quick math a $1 increase from $4.50 to $5.50 in moving from a 22 to a 750 increases the cost per ounce by ... $0.01.

I'll toss a couple rolls of coins in a penny jar at the tap room for any complainers.

    Haha.
Yeah, its not much. Honestly, the price increase won't even cover the increased labor and packaging costs, but its a price I can still be happy about and pay our bills. The idea is to keep these at a moderately sessionable price, not a precious price. We hope to keep it low enough where darn near everyone can just enjoy them whenever. Because good wild beer doesn't have to be expensive.

You guys are good people, and I hope others are inspired to take this approach to beer.

Are the De Garde beers widely distributed in Oregon? Do these make it into Portland?

Bu Weisse and Petit Desay are the only things you're likely to find. Occasionally shops will drive to the brewery, buy stuff from them, and then resell it in Portland, but that's hit or miss. Also, I have a strong feeling @deGardebrewing Doesn't approve of the practice.

They've dropped off a case a two of previous releases to select shops in Portland as well. It's rare, just don't want people thinking Tin Bucket or some place is reselling when they happen to see a few bottles for sale behind the counter.

    Good call.
I dont recall the last time we did so though, so ill reiterate my statement from another thread; if its not Bu or Petit, its almost certainly being illegally priced up and re-sold currently.
We definitly dont encourage this practice.

On the plus side, we're getting closer to having some other fairly widely distributed bottles from our foeders ready.

Desay, Hose and Nelson Hose were the only ones outside of Bu Weiss and Petit Desay that I have seen around town. They were also at "deGarde friendly" bars so pretty sure they werent illegal re-sells.

Love it. What is the turnaround on the next batch of foeder brews?

Yes, but that was some months ago. Even down here in Eugene, the Hose and Nelson Hose are long gone.

On the other hand, 16 tons in particular seemed to get an excellent supply of the Bu and Petit, and at present, there's still plenty of it left.

We SHOULD have a sour red in the next couple months, and a sour red on raspberries and sour cherries right behind it (more limited supply, particularly on the fruited red). Hose following shortly after with any luck.

    Hey Washington,
Tomorrow we start the paperwork for distribution up your way. Apologies for the delay. Should be seeing some cases in the next few months. Bu and Petit, likely followed shortly after by others. Its going to be up to processing times on paperwork as to when.

Yup. I'm pretty sure that Point Blank still has some limited stock of Bu and Petit, so places that want it are getting what they're ordering. It is looking like there will be an inventory lag between batches, so if your local shop or bar is in need, probably best to get orders in sooner than later. With WA distro comibg soon, I suspect supplies will be more limited, but not scarce.
