I was just wondering how hard is it to actually get Cantillon in the States? Not necessarily the best but just some at all? And what is the going rate? Say I wanted to trade some Three Floyd's what would it take? Or is the mark up really high?

Let me know I am really curious and their website doesn't have very much on it.

You can order directly from Belgium through Etre. To be cost effective, you need to order a dozen 750s. Should run about $300 with shipping depending on what you get.

I am not looking for any necessarily but since my coworker said he was thinking about flying half way around the world for it and I just thought that it wasn't that difficult to get that he has to go to Europe for it.

Pretty impossible around here..unless Max's has a Belgian Fest. Then it's just expensive.

I've never seen this anywhere near me...how much does a 750 bottle typically go for?

I've seen the regular geuze in a store one time for $17.

Probably would take a dark lord or a more sought after ba beer from three Floyd's in a trade.

I went to the brewery in August (admittedly, not the best time of the year to go). The prices are amazing. They sell a pack of 3-750ml bottles (Gueze, Kriek, and Rose de Gambrinus) for 18 Euros, or at least I'm pretty sure that's what it came out to. Tell your friend to go there and bring like 300 to spend along with 3-4 check-in suitcases lol.

Back in 2009 and before, one had no problem acquiring 'loons. I would have stockpiled if I had any idea what was to come *cries in fetal position*

Small bottles of Gueuze, Rose, etc range from $9-13, and 750s range from $15-35 depending on the variety.

Depends on which beer I'd imagine. I've seen the gueuze in my tiny little store once, very limited amount but still.

Find it regularly when I go to California. Usually the more common ones Like 100% Bio Geueze, regular Geueze, and the 100% Kriek Lambic, although I occasionally have found Fou Foune, Saint Lamvinus, and Rose de Gambrinus. Once I even found a bottle of their Grand Cru Bruocsella. The former are usually in the 375 bottles and go for around 15 to 17 a bottle and the latter have been in 750 format and run around 23 to 40 depending on where I find them.

Belgianshop prices are confusing me; most stuff is priced at $69-79.00 per 3/4L.

What does this mean? Minimum half a case of each? That's kind of a bummer.
