    I still think PA is the best state for the style, but I will go with my local, which is currently a DONG: Moonlight Reality Czech. Open that tasting room so we can get growlers, plz!

    If you like the German side of Pils as I do, Rothaus just started shipping to the US! It's fresh as can be. I've had both bottles and draft. So clean and crisp. Perfection!

    Most definitely in the US. Stoudt's, Penn, Sly Fox, Victory, etc.
    PA probably has more great pilsners than the rest of the country combined.

    Pilsner Urquell from a bottle - good.

    Pilsner Urquell on tap - very good.

    Pilsner Urquell on tap gravity fed from a copper vessel - the original, the best.

    Troegs Sunshine Pils is my favorite. Draft, bottle, can, they are all good to me.

    I'm curious - have you had Rothaus in Germany, or did you first have it in the US? I'm also a big fan of this beer.

    Jesse, hopefully a bar local to you will have Nooner Pilsner on tap soon. I had it on tap at a local beer bar (TJ's Everyday) a couple of weekends ago so kegs are being distributed.

    FWIW, I enjoyed Nooner Pilsner from the bottle more than that draft pint.

    I love this brew regardless, but a couple years ago I got a chance to drink it on cask and wow wow wow was it good.

    If this is true, I'm on a mission to find bars pouring it. Rothaus is the best pilsner I've ever had. I thought I'd never get to try it on tap unless I went back to Germany.

    I've only had it here. Though I'm not questioning the freshness as the place I got it told me that Rothaus are only interested in selling this beer at bottle shops and beer bars. They do not want to up their production so as to lessen quality. The stuff is delicious!
