Do you drink a certain beer at a special time?

Mine was after a hard day of skiing (when I used to ski).
We'd go to the ski lodge and order Molson Goldens.
They went down perfectly. REALLY hit the spot!

Your particular beer for a certain moment?

I love to take a nice long drink of a DIPA after having sex. I don't know. I just feels right.

I'm torn between liking this, or thinking it's just plain weird.

Old Style at Wrigley Field is the most best thing ever in the whole wide world. Yes . . . the most best.

lol what's so weird about it? It was the first thing that came to mind. After a good long pounding session you work up a thirst. The only thing on my mind is cleaning up and going to fridge for a beer. As long as I pour her a glass of wine I can get away with it without having to cuddle and all that crap.

So what you're saying is you don't drink anymore?
JK, I wish you many good drinks of DIPAs going forward

It's not one specific beer, but I do definitely hang on to certain special ones for special moments. Definitely had an intentional one after Ski to Sea for example, or tend to hang on to specific ones for my birthday. Saved a vintage from the year we graduated for some of my friends and myself at our reunion, etc.

When it snows and I have nowhere to be I like to stay in with nice barrel aged stout.

Old Style at Wrigley. You're right -- it does go well with the stench of boiling urine and mildew.

Summer. When I have to do something in the heat, like yard work... Saison. A good one like Hennepin or Saison DuPont tastes like the greatest invention ever.

I use to have that school of thought but now very rarely do I keep anything for a special occasion, unless I am going to bust out a vertical but that is a different story for a different day

First week of Stanley Cup playoffs, gotta do Molson Canadian. I know, I'll catch hell from even Canadians for the contrived gesture but it all started when I lived in New Mexico. You could not have found a more desolate hockey area if you tried. For instance, the only place that sold any volume of magazines (this was before lots of website stuff) had no less than 10 stupid ass pro wrestling magazines, but ZERO hockey mags. Lonely as shit for a fan, gotta tell ya. Well, we had a detachment of Canadian soldiers that came down for training and with them they brought a T/T full of Molson Canadian. Why, I haven't a clue. instead of drinking it, they sought out to trade it for various military wares. I traded 2 cheap ponchos for 4 cases. Also got to talk hockey, which really made me happy. Happened to be in April, yada yada yada, tradition was born. I still do it today out of respect for a group of fellows that brightened this pucker's soul for at least one playoff run while in Alamogordo.

In line with this, I'm saving a Jack's Abby Baby Maker to share for when my wife gets pregnant and I break the news to my family.
