I heard someone say Hopslam may hit SD distro. Any truth or insight on this?

Only Imperial and San Diego Counties? Look like a roadtrip to Imperial.

So is this available around SD? Is it easy to find or is it pretty limited? Have the hops fallen off yet?

Hopslam in San Diego is like Taco Bell in Mexico.

I had Hopslam on tap in Florida last year and by the way the guys at the bar were talking about it I was sure it would knock my balls off. I remember taking that first sip and being...underwhelmed.

Anyone see it in N. Cal yet? Granted, there are plenty of good IPA's and DIPA's out west, but I haven't had any hopslam in some time and I miss it.

Bell's doesn't distribute in N. Cal. Right now they are San Diego only for CA, on 2/23 they will be going all the way north to Ventura

Well said. I'll let somebody else chase trucks while drinking Societe, Modern Times, and Alpine.

Good to know. The website just lists California as one of their distribution markets, which is why I asked.

    Thanks!

I'm not going to seek it out, but a friend threw some in as an extra for a trade, so I'm eager to try it. I had it years ago before I really got into craft beer so I want to give it another shot.

Picked up a case last year while in the Tucson/Phoenix area. But I knew someone who worked at Total Wine-Phoenix that bought it the day it came out. He said it took a few days for all the cases to sell out. I can say I got really tired of drinking this one after the 2nd six pack. Maybe a sixer or 2 is good enough these days. Expect to pay around $12-18 for a six pack.

The only imperial beers people drink in Imperial are imperial tall cans of bud light and malt liquor. It's about 90 miles east of San diego neighboring Yuma AZ and Mexicali , Mexico

So is it safe to assume no one has seen Hopslam in SD yet? I'm not going to chase it around town or anything, but will ask the mrs to pick me up a sixer at Vons or whatever if it's easy to find, just so I can drink it and complain that it's overrated.

It's where BCS still sits on shelves until you get your friend's dad to pick some up for you...
