    Interesting hypothetical. Today actually is my 30th birthday. 2010 Deschutes Abyss is what I had this afternoon.

    I'm not sure what beer I would choose, but I do know that I would fill my Paulaner liter mug to the top with it.

    I have friends in Vermont so If I could drink a beer on my birthday it would be a Heady Topper on the chairlift at Jay Peak or Stowe.

    Thanks. Low-key but with good food and good beer. The big celebration was a combined thing a couple nights ago with a close friend who is two days older than me.

    I would go with some thick, rich, boozey and overly decadent sipper like Grey Monday, Mother of All Storms, White Chocolate or Leon.

    I think that men shouldn't really plot things because it's their birthday. Just drink good beer everyday you can. That way everyday can feel like your birthday.

    I know it's not that highly rated but this year for #37 I will be drinking a DFH Pearl Jam Faithful Ale. I sought one out locally yesterday and much to my surprise it was easier to obtain than I thought it would be. PJ's one of my favorite bands so on my bday I'm gonna crank up their records and crack that bottle, Cheers!!
