Chugging Craft Beer

The other exception is that it's because you bought it and you can do what you want with it

 

I occasionally chug an IPA to start off the night. Not very often but it happens.

 

I hate the chugging videos and the people that do them...they are just calling attention to themselves for the wrong reason and it is disrespectful to the people who make the beer...

 

When I was first getting into craft beer circa 2003 I made the mistake of playing drinking games with 90 minute. Needless to say it did not end well. Ah, college.....

 

My friends and I waterboard each other with Ghost Face Killah.

 

I chugged about 10oz of a "cuvee" of Assassin, CFH, Rare, '11 BVDL, '13 BVDL and '14 BVDL after a crazy bottle share. Also chugged 1/4 bottle of warm ADWTD. In hindsight neither of those were the greatest ideas but it sure seemed like the right thing to do at the time

 

Sometimes I have to sneak a beer from the beer fridge in the garage while doing yard work or "taking out the trash" or "exterminating the roaches". I only keep craft beer in the fridge, so needless to say, there have been occasions when a Torpedo or Celebration or Jai Alai was consumed in a manner as to not draw any unnecessary attention.

 

Grover told me that there is a monster on the sixth page of this thread. Please do not let this make it to the sixth page, I am so scared.

 

I get that. And I could really care less what someone does with said product. He can buy a baseball bat and stick it up his butt for all I care. I was stating my opinion on the matter, and how I view that. My point I was trying to make is, craft beer is meant to be enjoyed and savored just like fine wine would or a really great coffee. I think most people would agree. Also, Im not above slamming a beer down my throat. Throw me a PBR and now we are talking.

 

I would rather chugg it than throw it down the drain

 

Gulped down plenty DIPAs before heading to the football (soccer) to get a buzz on. Much tastier and less liquid to through than standard beer. Craft beer is for everything, not just savouring!

 

Not really intentionally, but sometimes those Lag DayTimes go down pretty darn quick...

 

I don't chug beer, but I have been told I drink fast. I take big gulps to get the most out of the taste, and as soon as I swallow one gulp I want another.

 

Drank a tweak in less than an hour. That counts, right?

 

Beer is meant to be drank. I think it's funny the self-righteous indignation over people doing to beer what it is purposes for. Then again, I'm the guy that had the post a little while back about making a sauce or marinade with Bourbon County stout...the horror!

Lots of dudes must stare at their beer cellars and fap vigorously.

 

Hang on, I'm chugging a craft beer right now.

 

Maybe not chugging, but I caught my son drinkin' one of my IPAs the other day with a straw. A Friggin Straw! I dam near slapped him. I did not raise him this way. I don't know where I went wrong.
