Melvin posted on their FB page its in Colorado on draft (Boulder, Denver, FoCo). A must try for the hop heads. One of the best beers I got to try, several times, at GABF. Maybe one day a keg will sneak down to C Springs.

It would be nice if they sent some to the rest of WY. Like Casper, for instance.

It was at Tap N Handle last night, probably still on. Their FB post made it seem like they weren't really sure where the kegs went but I would guess the major bars (falling rock, backcountry, hops and pie, etc.)

Backcountry should be a sure bet given their relationship with melvin brewing

Had that beer last summer while I was up in Grand Teton NP. Awesome stuff.

WANT. Doubt it makes its way down to SW CO anytime soon.

Please someone let me know if it lands somewhere with growler fills. I will make it worth your while.

Can we ever fill growlers with stuff outside of what the breweries themselve are brewing? Don't think our asinine laws allow it, unfortunately.

That's a good question; we don't have growler fill stations and I have never asked a brewery that has guest taps if they do growlers of the guest beer. This may be worth investigating.

Correct. Only beer they brew themselves.

    Concur.

When Trinity opened in the Springs they were selling growlers of all taps... and did so for probably 6m? But got busted and forced to shut down for a few days as punishment if I recall correctly.

Crazy I never knew that and I live ten minutes from them (although I didn't 6 years ago so I guess go figure). Beer laws are wacky that way I guess. We have it made as far as distribution goes for smaller breweries but some things are just confusing.

I've said this before but my dream is to have something like Alabama (and surely other states, I just saw it first hand in Alabama) has: liquor store/bar/growler fills. Walk in, grab a pint, walk around and shop, fill a growler of whatever is on, check out, go home. It's amazing.
