Got the same, I called BPT and they changed the attendees name for me and resent me a link, then 5 minutes later I got another email from them with the right info. Think their system was just messed up and they fixed it.

I put in the proxy name correctly (I've gone back through the process to see what happened).

I put in the Buyer's name (Rob)
I then put in the payer's name for the credit cart (Robert)

Those were the two names that appeared on the ticket, even though I had put in the Proxy's name. Looking at the process again, the Buyer and the Payer should still be me, I feel I filled out everything properly.

    From the BPT thread:

FOR THOSE USING A PROXY: The ticket will not display your designated pickup
person's name. Their name will however show up on our spreadsheet that we print
out, so as long as you forward along your ticket to them and their ID matches
the proxy name you entered, he/her will be able to pick up your bottles for
    you.

Neato. So it seems things will be fine with proxies then.

Not sure if everyone already saw the note from Mostra ( http://thefullpint.com/beer-news/mo...roversy-surrounding-beer-geek-speedway-stout/ ), but it sounds like if you were ever going to be ethically OK with drinking Kopi, this would be the beer to have it in.

I completely hear the price complaints on this, but if it cost me an extra few bucks a bottle to try a Kopi stout done right (both from a brewing and sourcing ethics standpoint), I'm game. Don't blame anyone who passed though, $25 a pop is damn high.

Got my 4 bottles right at 2pm; they sold out in about 5 minutes (not including the expiring carts).

I forgot and ended up buying mine at 1:36 central. No issues. I only bought 2 though.

I don't think putting JBM Speedway in a flight with Beer Geek Speedway today was among their best ideas...

Beer Geek Speedway is a really good beer, and there's definitely a difference between it and regular Speedway. That said, I'm not sure if I'd pay $25 for a bottle of it. And when it's next to the JBM Speedway, which was $7 less and (in my opinion) has a much fuller, more integrated coffee character to it...

It's hard to figure out what they were thinking

Two of us had Viet, Beer Geek, Jamaica Blue, Tequila and BA Speedway today and Beer Geek was second to last for both of us. Good for sure but not on the same level as the others. Tequila was last but we're not tequila drinkers.

Yeah... Next to the other versions of Speedway, Beer Geek was clearly lacking. Good beer, but not on the level of Viet/Jamaica Blue. Bit disappointed overall, but I think everyone knew the risk going in.
